Don't!

Not like I actually think us ranting matters whatsoever, but whenever my mum said 'I can't take it!' and went to bed when we played bad in Europe, we lost.

Please just stay for the silly idiocy.

A few good signs for Romney in Ohio: Romney's doing a net 6 points better in affluent Geauga county with 40 percent reporting; He's doing 6 points better in rural Ashland County with 45 percent reporting; Romney's up 15 points in Belmont County (a state Obama won) with 55 percent reporting.

Still want me here?

Florida is going to be very very close... Some of the North West (usually heavy republican) not reported at all, and neither has miami

 brilliant

Surely not? You're telling me that if I was here eight years ago I'd be readying myself to do an emergency shop should Bush get re-elected?

I just think that Bush was looked upon in Britain a bit like Boris Johnson is, as a bit of a bumbling buffoon. Romney seems to be viewed upon as if he's the devil incarnate.

Well like you say he was always regarded as an idiot, and an idiot in the White House is cause for great concern.

To be fair, I can't pretend I remember too much of the 2004 election. I was 12 and therefore had far more important matters to attend to.

Nah, I remember being seriously annoyed when Bush was re-elected. We thought of him just as much of a dangerous loon as Romney. And justifiably so in hindsight. We - or I - didn't view him as a Johnson-esque harmless goon. Johnson has no power except over cycling and shite. It's easy to look back and go "oh we weren't worried' just as it's easy for Republicans to look back and claim they didn't hate the Clintons, despite the equivalent of the birther brigade accusing them of murdering one of their closest friends at the time.

Obama retakes the lead in Florida!

We need a horse-racing announcer calling Florida.

CNN reporting Dems may actually lose seats in the House instead of gaining any and a little bit of angry at Obama for his lack of help in the local races. It seems when he would make appearances he was not willing to share stage with local candidates and this hurt in some races.

Dems should pick up 2 seats in the Senate, solidifying their majority.

Overall it is looking like a status quo election.

Getting silly now when we are seeing the pundits talking about not just states but individual counties and I think ABC was talking about voting districts within one county in Ohio.....goodness getting into the nitty gritty, lol
