Check out my post again, I just added a clip.
I would quite literally pay to watch him debate Warnock. There is also literally NO way he gets within 100000 miles of a debate platform.

I’m sure it was just a mix up as to which Hershel would debate.I always believe that a candidate should be disqualified when not showing up oneself in a debate that is officially recognized by the electoral commission.
I still love the fact that Ossoff debated an empty podium.
Edit: If Walker wins the GOP Primary this is the level of ideas we will see, even if he shows up to debate Warnock.
True, but in one case the racist showed up and in the other he didn'tClint did it first.
“envelope shall be mailed by the elector, or delivered in person, to the municipal clerk issuing the ballot or ballots.”
I think this is just the beginning of a purposeful self sabotage of the US economy by the GOP prior to midterms.
I for one am shocked (shocked!) by this story! When I left CA 22 years ago she had been in office for 8 years already and was already in he mid 60's.
Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine volunteered that after a recent snowstorm caused a traffic backup that resulted in him being stuck in his car for 27 hours commuting to D.C., Feinstein handwrote him a letter expressing how sorry she was for what he had experienced.
Every day the GOP continues to show us more and more who they are.
What an inspirational tale.
Put this out literally within hours of Trump endorsing his opponent Vance…
Meanwhile, in the American far right, a new documentary emerges:
The airport/airline mask mandate is largely pointless theatre at this point but that’s irrelevant to the fact that legally this is just utterly ridiculous and I’m sure will be overturned quite quickly.
The pandemic became extremely politicized in the US. If you're on one side you have to support the strongest possible measures, and if you're on the other side you have to oppose any measure at all. One is ultimately better than the other, but it's not great in the long run. But then we there have been very nearly serious discussions the last couple of years about whether or not the US is headed into another civil war, so it's not like this is only related to covid.
What's the vaccination rate like in the US by now? In Europe we're largely getting rid (or have already gotten rid) of the last measures, but maybe we're simply less vulnerable than the US. In that case stronger measures may be in order, but I don't see how it's ever going to change. A lot of people won't get vaccinated.

This is purely anecdotal but let me throw this out there: I used to travel a decent amount pre pandemic and got sick more times than not when I flew. Since the mask requirements I have not gotten sick a single time. Beyond COVID it has done wonders for limiting other colds/flus.

It is almost entirely dependent on location. In WI you can see it:
Biden Trump Counties 14 58Avg County Size 154,819 62,257 Vaccination Rate 66% 58%County Avg Vac Rate 67% 55%
The correlation coefficient is not impressive, but for something like this 0.73 is kinda shocking.
The air on any modern commercial aircraft is replaced every 3 minutes and supplied via HEPA filters. It’s pretty much the cleanest air you’ll experience.
This combined with the fact that most if not all states have got rid of mask mandates, it seems entirely pointless to require people to wear a mask whilst travelling between two places where they won’t be wearing them, whilst sitting in clean replenished air.
However, as I said above, the legality of the ruling is questionable to say the least.
58% is incredibly low. Is that fully vaccinated (two doses)? In Norway we're at 74.9% with two doses, 90.7% of those 18+, and I don't think we're particularly high on a European scale. There aren't really big regional differences either. The highest county (our top level) is at 92.3% (18+) and the lowest is 89.4%. The difference is a bit bigger on a municipal level, but our municipalities can get really small, so it's harder to gauge. I don't think there are any political or ideological differences at all, except if you're at the very fringe of conspiracy.
If it's 58% with three doses, then that's actually slightly higher than Norway, but something tells me it's not.
