US Politics

What a bipolar state.

When will the SC begin to change? How are the justices selected, appointment or vote?

Elected. Next R seat is up in 23, so we will need to wait till then. These feckers are as corrupt and in the pocket of the Koch's as the state legislature. Never forget that this state is around 51-52% blue but the state legislature is almost at a veto proof R majority. Gerrymandering at its worst.

@Rado_N @Dwazza Gunnar Solskjær

Lads, lads, lads....

Check out the suit, tie and pocket hankie combo..

Wtaf

Those awful checks in the suit with a Jackson Pollock style hankie (Square) and the Trump Republican tie.

Should be slapped for wearing a suit like that. Although to be fair he should be slapped just for being Matt Gaetz. Don't even get me started on the tie. WTF kind of red is that?

I had forgotten to the extent Walker et al screwed the state. That link you sent out a little while back brought it all back. Utterly appalling.

What are the term limits for the justices?

Power tie, right? Had always heard red ties are to present power. Have been told never wear one to any type of interview, board, etc.

My state bad
.
.
.
.

Seriously though, I started with my company in 2011 and my orientation was the same week as the massive protests against that asshole Walker. By coincidence (and because our company is one of the cities biggest employers) the hotel I was at had a free of charge lounge overlooking the capitol, so I got to sip on brews and cheer on the teachers. This state is hella weird.

It's a good thing the GQP didn't base their platform on stopping "cancel culture"......

Anywho, no sympathy for Delta. They chose to help pass the law and then bowed to public pressure. They are now getting fecked from both sides. Hopefully the lesson they learn hear is that siding with the GQP is not a long term recipe for success. Just like their orange lord and savior they will turn on you in a second.

This is quite common in GA. I remember this occurring, or the threat of it, at least two times in recent memory.

I had no intention of listening to this audiobook, but I think I just might should the library get a copy.
