Ocasio-Cortez outdraws presidential candidates, decries moderates as 'meh'
"At South by Southwest, the 29-year-old freshman congresswoman drew bigger crowds than any of the half-dozen presidential candidates who came to Austin, too."

I bet Useless Joe Biden will never draw a crowd as big as AOC

Useless Joe sounds like a future Trump nickname.

Morning Joe’s Spoiled Brat Donny Deutsch: “I’d Vote Trump Over A Socialist”

I don’t make a habit of taking up for Pelosi, but the reality is that the GOP controlled Senate makes any attempt at impeachment pointless spending of political capital.
but the #resistance on twitter has said trump will be impeached very soon, i've heard multiple time how' this is it for trump'
Seth Abramson showed me a 150 long thread of why Trump will be impeached in 2017.......

So are you upset at random people on twitter who have no say in the issue, or with Pelosi?

If Trump is the Russian puppet so many people believe he is, then impeaching him is absolutely the most important thing.
Definitely. But without a Senate conviction, it is pointless. Had Democrats won the Senate in the most recent elections, I believe we’d be hearing a different story from Pelosi.

tbh the only way I see Trump leaving is if he loses the 2020 election

Nixon didnt get convicted and he still resigned. Johnson didnt get convicted but his presidency was effectively ended. Theres value in having the media cover you talking about your political opponents crimes day after day. Plus maybe Trump would get so mad he would die on the toilet while watching Fox and Friends.

I doubt that

I doubt he'll even go easy in that case. Can you imagine how batshit insane he'll be from November 2020 until January 2021 when the next President is inaugurated? Do you think he'd cooperate with a Democratic transition team? He's just as likely to go around hiding the White House television remotes, a fate worse than death in his mind.

On a serious note, he's already started laying groundwork to try and question the legitimacy of future elections and it'll likely only get worse in the next two years.

Pelosi puts Republicans in a bind by rejecting bill to change national emergencies act

US. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Wednesday the House of Representatives will not consider a Republican bill to amend a federal national emergencies law after President Donald Trump used the declaration in a bid to get money for his long-promised border wall.

“Republican Senators are proposing new legislation to allow the President to violate the Constitution just this once in order to give themselves cover.

“The House will not take up this legislation to give President Trump a pass,” the Democratic leader said in a statement. “The House will not take up this legislation to give President Trump a pass.”

To be fair, Nixon was about to be convinced. He would never have resigned if it wasn't a certainty, which is why he held on for so long.

So the House - even McConnell's senate - just voted against the President's national emergency. Big deal right? Seems pretty historic. Top story on Fox News? Nope. Top 3? Nope. Top 5?! Nope.

This is why the deplorables still support Trump. Not because Trump is some intuitive savant of idiots, because they use a 'news' source that simply doesn't tell them about the bad things.

I get Fox News as part of the headlines thing on my phone. Over the past few weeks, the headlines have been the Smollet case (at least 10 articles), some college campus speech stuff (maybe 2-3), and AOC/Omar's crazy statements are diving the Democrats (about 5 stories about that). I saw nothing about the Yemen vote- where the senate voted to end US involvement in the Saudi war (the first ever such vote) and nothing about this emergency vote.
