Looking so difficult for Del Potro now. He looks a shell of yesterday's player.

Indeed. But even so, when he's had chances he hasn't been able to do much with them.
Things could change of course and i expect Del Potro to lift his game in this set but what chances are you talking about? Even the game when he was love 30 up on Federer's serve, Federer came up with brilliant tennis to win the game rather than his opponent making mistakes.
He has quite a few unforced errors, from memory. I'll check the stats next time they flash up.
He's had the chance to pass Federer on quite a few occasions and missed.

I agree with all of this. He's serving pretty poorly too.
One thing though, the unforce error stat is a very misleading one. It is usually a judgement call of what is one and what isn't. Often Federer would have actually stretched Del Potro with his groundstrokes, actually forced an error but it would be put into the unforced error bracket.

His serves has been crap all year. Players nowadays don't know how to return. If they did like Aggassi, Federer will not have had the year he has had.
What has happened to Federer in this game? It is the wind, his game is so precise that when conditions changes, it takes him a very long time to get back in tune with them.

Cos the judge allowed DelPo to challenge after they went off which is bizarre. Gave him plenty of time.
Im so glad this has turned into a match. Would like to see DelPo win, but if he doesnt at least take it to 5.
