US Open 2009 Flushing Meadows

I cannot stand Federer. In one way I love to see him play with the shots he makes etc, but at the same time he is so dull and boring, no emotion, looks like he couldnt give a shit. He may have all the titles and be a great champion but he is no great sport personality that is for sure. Can't warm to him like I do to Nadal or Roddick.

Yeah I could see Del Potro winning it if he plays like he did today, that said he isnt named Nadal and thus Fed is the heavy favorite.

Great performance from Federer, he was in cruise control throughout. I expected Djokovic to put up more of a fight, he made too many mistakes on crucial points. I've a feeling that this final is going to be like last year's final. Del potro will be a bit nervous in his first final. Federer won't allow him to settle into a rhythm and will win comfortably.

Serena still hasn't apologized for her disgraceful behaviour. Hopefully the WTA ban her for some time.
 
Yeah Serena is a disgrace, all the well I get into my matches is bullshit, who the feck doesnt. Threatening to kill someone, is classless and disgraceful she should be banned for the tournament for a year. $10,500 fine that is pocket change to her.

I think Djokovic played as good as he could, problem was Federer was just too bad ass, almost perfect last night.

Yep. I think on the crucial points Federer just stepped it up to another level. Mighty impressive.

Fed has broken all records, most grand slams, all surfaces, now against very very good opposing players, and the most impressive - being in a semifinal in every GS since 2004 or something.

He is alone on top IMO.

Not yet, but after i wake up tomorrow morning and turn on the news - he would be saying otherwise.
 
I think Federer knows Del Potro's game more than Del Potro knows his game.:lol::lol: I wish Nadal was playing this game.
 
Maybe Federer can see some weakness in Del Potro's forehand, most of the errors Del Potro has made were kind of forced by Federer, he hits the ball very hand and straight at the feet of Del Potro and again and again, he just returns it into the net.
 
Rog has been awful serving but still hasnt faced a break point, and he already has had 11 break points v Del Potro
