United eyes on Krasic

No way we are even going to go in for this bloke as we have 2 good wingers so it is not club policy to spend a fortune on another winger if we are already good in that area. If we sign a left winger it will be some unheard of 17 year old from France for a couple of million!

Bollocks. Even his Fiorentina form was well below the level of the upper echelon of midfielders: the Xavi's, Fabregas's, Cambiasso's, Essien's of the game. Hence why Juventus got him and not us, Barca, Real or Chelsea.

Bollocks to yourself, the season before he was rated as the best midfield player in Serie A. If at the end of the previous season we'd have been linked to him I'd have been over the moon. Diego was also rated as one of the best players in Europe as well, yet he signed for Juve to. Hell Valencia was a Wigan player and we signed him even though his form at Wigan wasn't at the same level as the upper echelons.

Who's just Rosi? Not on the books of Roma as far as I'm aware.

Aleandro Rosi, co-owned by Roma and Siena.

Not directly relevant to this thread but I can see Nani being sold for a good price on the back of a good world cup performance...

Yes that's why we gave him a new contract just months ago

Exactly...bump the value up. You'll see.

Yep. And if Rooney gets 4 goals he's off as well.

We dont sell our best players just because they are at peak value after a world cup. And Nani turned down Barcelona last season to stay. So stop getting your hopes up.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want him to leave, but given all these debts...:nervous:

deal with juventus almost done according to italian press

Good signing by them, he is a very good player in his prime

And it seems Juve are about to sign Simone Pepe from Udinese... Two decent signings for them, shame we missed out on Krasic mind. Seemed a good player from what I've seen!

I read somewhere that all that is agreed is a contract between Krasic and Juve.. Juve have still not fixed a price with CSKA.. Although I doubt the transfer fee will be a stumbling block..

Milos Krasic is keen to bring an end to speculation surrounding his future so he can focus on the World Cup.

The Serbia international continues to dominate gossip columns, with reports suggesting he could be the subject of a big-money move this summer.

The likes of Manchester City and Juventus are said to be keen on the CSKA Moscow man, and have money to spend.

The ongoing rumours are unlikely to die down until Krasic makes his intentions clear, or a deal is pushed through, despite the player insisting he is giving little thought to what his next move will be.

With the World Cup very much at the forefront of his mind at present, Krasic has claimed: "It (transfer talk) doesn't affect me in any way. Everything is put to one side.

"There will be enough time for this later."

For now Krasic is focused on a meeting with Ghana on Sunday, as Serbia begin their quest for global glory in South Africa.

They are also set to face Germany and Australia in a keenly-contested Group D.

Not that I think he'll be at United next season but that doesn't sound like a player who has almost signed for anyone....

It would be foolish for CSKA to do a deal before the WC was over. Chances are Krasic will have a good showing and this will only increase his value.

Selling him now would be ideal for them if they get a price that they want, that way they could address possible targets to replace him

Juventus arn't going to improve their 13.5 million offer, apparentl CSKA want 15.
"We arrived first for Krasic, but sometimes this is not enough. Football is like this," Marotta told Il Corriere dello Sport.

"Juventus will not take part in auctions and therefore two things will happen. CSKA will accept our bid, or we will pull out from negotiations."

Well I still do not understand why they want both Pepe as well as Krasic?

They are going to change the system from one that doesn't use flanks to a one which use them. I don't think that a team would last long with just 1 right winger in the squad.

This is what they already have:

Camoranesi
Govinco
Salihamidzic
Even Marchisio can put in a shift on the right..

So their threatening to walk away because CSKA would like 1.5 million more than their currently offering?? i cant see them cancelling the deal if that’s the case, to ignore a transfer with such a small difference in valuations is ludicrous, Krasic is easily worth 15 million in today’s market hes a cracking player and if Juve wont offer that then id wager plenty of others will.

Camoranesi is too injury prone. Giovinco is not a right winger (and may end up being involved in the Pazzini deal), Salihamidic is a full back, Marchisio is a central midfielder.

Is he now?

And you admit Camoranesi is a right winger yes? So I ask you my dear friend why do Juve need 3 right sided wingers? Got yourself in a pickle didn't ya?

As I said Camoranesi had been pretty injury prone for quite some time and he is 33. Salihamidic is a bit shite while the rest are either central midfielders or forwards. Big clubs tend to have ample backup. We have 7 wingers (Giggs, Nani, Park, Cleverley, Obertan, Valencia and Tosic) for two flanks

Firstly we do not have 7 its just the benefit of the off-season which is why you can say that.. We have at best 5-6.. Of which one is old and versatile and plays centrally alot and the other is young and learning..

Juve have 3 proper wingers and only one of them can play from the left and correct me if I am wrong but don't Pepe and Krasic both predominantly play from the right? Anyway I think it doesn't make sense to sign both not like they are gonna go by my logic anyway.. I still have a feeling that they wont get the both of them just one.. i.e Pepe

Even if we have 6 its already 3 per wing (if you take the average). Now Camoranesi is injury prone (in my opinion his physical condition is much worse then Giggsie's who is older then the guy). Krasic may end up playing on the left, and Pepe on the right with Camoranesi as reserve.

Even if its not the case and Krasic will be played on the right we would still have more cover on the left flank (Giggs, Park, Nani and Obertan) then they will have on the right flank and I am ignoring players like Cleverley and Tosic who are still in our payroll but may end up being loaned or sold (I dont think or at least I hope that Cleverley wont be loaned expecially if we are keen not to add any new midfielder/winger to the team)

Is that why Camoranesi was picked for the World cup? He made 24(13) apps for his club this season.. Seems like a good return to me for someone that is so injury prone! And that is not counting the league cup/their equivalent for the Fa Cup fixtures..

I also think Giovinco might not like the idea of being a backup..

Also I know how many wingers we have you do not need to keep going on about it.. Also overlapping wingers that can play on both sides of the wing doesn't mean we have that many more wingers! Also Cleverley is meant to be a central player who can do well on the wings..

I seriously do not get why you are so worked up about this though? Your acting like a child.. Its not like I said Rooney is crap and meant it! I simply said It doesn't make sense to me.. & I am sure most on here would agree..

As much as they would agree with the fact that we do not NEED another winger let alone a right sided one..

Also:

Inter Milan have made a late move to beat rivals Juventus to the signing of Serbia winger Milos Krasic, according to the player's agent.

Krasic was expected to join Juve from CSKA Moscow and said this week he expected the deal to be "concluded rapidly".

But upon taking control at Inter, new head coach Rafa Benitez has quickly made a formal offer for Krasic, following up the interest he had in bringing the player to Liverpool.

"Rafa wanted Milos when he was at Liverpool and now he is at Inter they have made a written offer," agent Dejan Joksimovic said.

"We have been in negotiations with Juventus as well, but Inter are coming to Moscow to speak to his club about him in the next few days.

"There was interest from the top clubs in England, but they weren't quick enough. It is almost 100% Milos will be going to Italy."

Also:

I think that you are misunderstanding me. I am trying to make you understand why Juventus want to get Krasic nothing more, nothing less using us an example. Big teams tend to have alot a big squad and our team is a perfect witness for that. BTW dont worry about me, I havent been taking this forum seriously for quite some time

Camoranesi had played few games this season as first teamer. He is 33 and he is injury prone. No one in Turin believes that he will be more then just a reserve. Now if Del Neri is set to play Krasic on the left then everything would fit perfectly (Krasic on the left, Pepe on the right).

Regarding Lippi, he is betting alot on experience and not form. He took Camoranesi and Cannavaro (who is fresh from a horrible season at Juventus), leaving at home players like Cassano, Balotelli and Rossi

To conclude I wont be surprised to see him at Inter. They have more financial clout then Juve has.

From what I have seen of him in the first thirty minutes here he was vastly overrated anyway.

Doesn't score, doesn't assist. Don't want him anywhere near United.
