United eyes on Krasic

Nice player - but this is not the player that we want right now.

Need a left back, another creative central midfield player, and possibly (not urgent) a left winger!

I don't know why he is highly rated. I have seen Juventus at times and he's actually not very good. A poor man Antonio Valencia to say the least

He had one killer season in the CL, and was consistently good at CSKA whilst being arguably Serbia's best player during the WC 2006 Qualification run. He definitely deserved to be highly rated after that.

As for Juventus, the first few months of his career there he was on fire. Since then not so, and like I said he needs to pull his finger out.

Reports in Italy suggest that Juventus have made Theo Walcott their top January transfer target- and midfielder Milos Krasic could be sold to Chelsea in order to finance any move.

Corriere dello Sport claim that the Serie A side have already contacted Walcott's agent to sound out a deal - although Colin Gordon recently denied he'd held any such conversations.

It is thought that Juventus would be willing to sell Serbian star Milos Krasic to finance the Walcott deal. Chelsea and Manchester United have both shown an interest in the midfielder in the past and will be monitoring any developments closely.

Walcott to Juventus would be a weird one but knowing Arsenal they will probably sell him there for £12m.

Walcott could do decently well in Italy.

Italian teams shit themselves when they see someone with pace. See Gareth Bale.

I was impressed with Krasic with the 3-3 draw for CSKA against us a few seasons back, always looked for the ball and done well. Have kept him in my mind ever since. Agreed he is not what we need now though, think we have good options there going forward.

He's awesome to play with in Fifa. One of my favorites in Fifa 11. He's a right winger though. Why are the press linking us to a right winger?

We don't need him. And shit like this annoys me:

"I think Krasic is a bit bigger than Borussia at the moment," he said. "These are stories without any substance."

There's nothing mentioned about United being in for him. It's just a piece of football news about a certain player. Nothing to do with United.

Ah, a whole transfer forum, where muppets can rejoice.

Krasic is the last person I think United should buy, in possibly the last position on the pitch that United need. One of my good friends is a Juve fan, and he despises Krasic, and says to me he would pay United to take him. I can see him going to Chelsea perhaps, or maybe a French side. Definitely do not want him at United though.

Juventus will allow Manchester United to take Milos Krasic on loan in January if Sir Alex Ferguson firms up his interest in him.

The Italian giants have been approached by a string of top European clubs regarding the winger's availability.

United are said to be keen on him, along with the likes of Chelsea and AC Milan.

Krasic is open to a move in the upcoming winter transfer window, having grown disillusioned with life at Juve.

The 27-year-old's agent, Dejan Joksimovic, recently claimed that coach Antonio Conte did not want him at the club.

Ferguson has been watching developments and, according to sources in Italy, Juve are now open to loaning Krasic out next month.

The Serbian is valued at around £15million, but Juventus would rather loan him out until the summer before taking a view on the situation.

Such a deal could then lead to a permanent move.

Why are they allowing him to go out on loan?

Wasn't he so highly rated?Has he been shit?

We could use him in central midfield.

Seems like he's flopped at Juve...

Maybe he'll pull an Henry and do well in England but I have my doubts. Besides, why on earth would we be interested in another player who is primarily a winger when we have desperate needs for a central midfielder?

Because we haven't been able to identify a suitable central midfield signing?

perhaps, though this is likely just speculation (probably from Krasic agent). I just don't see why we need a winger at the moment. Especially one that's unproven in England and has struggled to get games this season.

He was on fire for the first half of last season, probably the best player in Serie A... then he just malfunctioned. I find it hard to like Krasic's game at present, he has become an annoying diver who is very predictable and easy to stop.

The Krasic of 2 years ago was totally different, and one I could have seen playing for United. He still has the game for the PL, but he needs to buck up his ideas IMO.

He was excellent against us when he played for CSKA as I recall.

That was the time we should have made a move for him. But now...I really don't see the need for a player like him when we've already invested in Young and have Nani and Valencia as well.

Can't see him in centre midfielder either...and when was the last time we took a loan player? Larsson? We just don't seem to be a club that does that sort of thing.

That is what happens when you play in Serie A.

It's like there is an aversion to bringing in CM's. I can't see why we'd need this guy, Ashley Young is not a CM, at best he's a second striker but his passing isn't good enough to play as a CM, so I doubt Krasic would be brought in so Young could move centrally.

How many squad players and backups do we need? Christ, our squad is big enough as it is. What we need is a top class addition to midfield. Krasic wouldn't improve us, it will be just enough option on the wings. We've got enough!

I would genuinely be angry if we signed him. We have no need for him whatsoever, we have plenty of wingers, and at least 3 of which are better than him. Any time I have seen him as of late he has looked absolutely terrible.

More than likely his agent liking him with us to get his name out there to help him engineer a move away. Spurs would be a good club for him. Surely wheeler dealer Arry is onto it
