For UKIP.

Actually, I lied. I know my Grandad takes massive interest in politics and won't have made the decision lightly if he did ultimately vote for UKIP. And I've decided it's not fair at all, diligence or not

He use to work for GCHQ so maybe he has info on all these foreigners that I don't.

i want to know what fuel she uses on her babrbie.
Charlie Brooker was great yesterday. She is from Oz, did she drift over here on a sustainable wood raft.

Hopefully Clegg goes as well... Plus balls and farrage not getting in would be quite good as well

Clegg will keep his seat. Whether he'll still be leader if the exit polls are correct is another thing.

Why is their so much support for Ukip in the north of england?

I've 'read' that he's pretty likeable and intelligent. Haven't seen much of him yet to say anything though.

Reckless is a horrible cnut.

I don't know if it's even that he's likable, but more that he seems to be fairly well-spoken, and will manage to go a full 5 years or so as their leader without saying racist stuff. Which is probably an achievement for them.

He's a goner if he doesn't win his seat, which is quite possible.

Nah, they will keep hold of him. Overall it will be a very successful election for UKIP.

The only person who made an effort with me was a sweet old lady collecting data for the greens so I give it to them in the end.
Was dead at my polling station. No weirdo parties either. Gone are the days of miss GB party.

I think they get votes from some people who want an EU referendum but don't trust Cameron to deliver one after last time. Greens are the only other main party offering one I think.

Definitely some, but I'm not sure there's that many who vote it for that There are probably more who are simply doing it as a very general and broad 'tactic vote' though.

As for waiting around for the votes to be counted, when should we expect an online polling system anyway? I think there are a lot more votes than people think that would be made if they didn't have to get off their bum to do it.

He's pretty categorically said though that if he doesn't win his seat, he'll quit. They'd absolutely love to keep him since he's crucial to their hopes, but it's him who's said he'll go.

I've had enough of listening to these feckwits ignore questions and spout their scripts, I'm going to sleep.

Because a lot of people have had concerns about immigration for a very long time and Labour failed to address those concerns.

I wonder if they could get around it by having him step down then standing again in the subsequent leader election.

This is the only time a CE thread is harder to follow than the matchday forum.

^ This. As well as the fact that 'Tories' is a dirty word in parts of the north of England, so it gives them another right wing alternative.

Labour going with "the exit poll shows that the coalition government lost its majority". Whoever decided that line would go down well with people needs a slap.

Around Doncaster UKIP is slated to get quite a few votes and plenty will be from people who think there are too many poles around here.

They could, but then he'd be kinda defeating the purpose of quitting since he'd win, and people would feel he's gone back on his word.
