The worst possible result for remainers I guess would be a slim majority Tory government.

Puts Boris firmly in the clutches of the ERG.

Oh, yes please. I'll bring my my Till Death Do Us Part DVDs too and we can watch them unironically.
I feel like I finally may have found a friend. You arent playing with me are you? You are my best friend now and I am not sure I could handle the rejection.

Voted Labour of course. Got some beers and gonna chill and watch it unfold and inevitably end up sad.

I won't reject you! I've only had one friend before and he died after some poor dwarves came back to recover the vast amounts of gold he stole from him.
What's your favourite Wagner song?

Decent queue at my place, though it was rush hour and wasn't in the same constituency in 2017 to compare. Not bad considering the shit weather, still expecting lower turnout though.

Tory majority now 1.56 on betfair. Was 1.3 this morning.
No overall majority is 2.88 - was 4 this morning.
Seems that a Tory majority is getting less and less likely - although will still happen 2 times out of every 3.

How long did it take you? Suspect it'll be the same for me in about an hour

Refusing to get sucked into the social media hype. At my polling stations there were no queues and 90% of the people I did see must have been 70+.

Not that long to be honest, bout 20 mins, but felt longer cause half the queue was outside :lol

Well now, Betfair odds on Conservative majority were 1/3 on before I nipped out to vote and buy beer. They are now 4/9. That's a bigger swing against the Tories than the overnight one was for them. Does it matter? Who knows.
Might just mean many people have bet on them to win.

On sky bet, no overall majority has dropped from 9/4 to 13/8 overnight

What a question. Comparable to having to pick if you hate the poor more than foreigners. How do you choose? It has to be 'Tristan and Isolde'. Unless of course we are talking xfactor Wagner. Then its 'She bangs'.

Ouch, that would hurt.

I'll get my election news tomorrow, no point in waiting up, need proper counts to be sure everywhere.

Might watch election 1999 instead just for laughs

Until the exit polls are out the only thing affecting betting odds are where the bets are going. So not much worth getting excited about.

Went and voted on my way home from work. I don't think it'll matter (it never has in the past) but Alun Cairns is my MP and I couldn't live with myself if I didn't vote against him, not that he should be running, after the rape trial scandal he should have stepped down, says a great deal about him, the party and the electorate that the slimeball cnut will keep his job.

I fear you're right. I'm getting caught up in it all today in my own echo chamber in work and Twitter.

The reality is I don't think Corbyn or any celebrity advocate doing big numbers on Twitter is going to change the mindset of the 45+ bracket in this election. I think future elections could be heavily influenced by socials but an enormous percentage of the voting population live outside of this environment.

Oh well. Hung Parliament will be a victory for me.
I think you're right on future elections. Population spread of the UK will change to Labours advantage. So long as the Tories don't gerrymander the constituency boundaries.

Omens look good for Labour. I'd rather a Labour government than a hung parliament, think the country needs a party that can actually govern.

She bangs totally. As long as it's not other women though, eh? Unless I can watch. Alone. Masturbating. In boot cut jeans.

Just voted against Cairns myself. He's a horrible man, stands for nothing other than his own self interests, and as you say, after the scandal he should have stepped down and long fecked off.
