UEFA Champions League Matchday 1 fixtures (18th - 19th Sep 2018) | Kick off @ 17:55 and 20:00 BST

I thought English Refs were bad.
I think the order goes English refs > German refs > Spanish refs.
Although we send our worst referees to CL games for whatever reason. Brych and Aytekin... :wenger:

Happy to see City lose but they need to proceed from their group, can’t have them focusing on the league after New Year. Luckily their group should be piss easy.

Isn't it one game suspension unless it's violent conduct?

If he were playing at Madrid that would never be red card (in fact he made several of those "semi-aggressions")

Ronaldo sent off, City two goals down, it's been a good day for United outside of our own game as well  A Valencia win would be the icing on the cake.

Can't even say I'm disappointed, our attitude from the first minute was shocking. Fernandinho has been 0/10, strolling around like he's fecking Ronaldinho whilst missing 2 yard passes. Gundogan the same, arrogant shite. Delph looks like he's shit the bed and Jesus will never be as good as Aguero, never.

Embarassing shitshow, only Raheem and maybe Bernardo can be going into that dressing room with any pride. I don't mind to see us lose but this is the 3rd half of football I've seen from us this season where we've been outplayed because we are too arrogant and not up for the fight. No Pep to tear into them either. Furious. Lyon could well have had a pen as well.

What? I thought he's been good this season. He's usually shite?

Don't tell me people are sad Ronaldo wont come to OT?
Jesus Christ that's an advantage for United!

As a match-going fan, yes I would be slightly disappointed if we don't see him at OT. Yes it would be an advantage, but from a spectacle point of view it would be a slight buzz kill if we don't see him come home.

Maybe a little bit harsh, but he shouldn't have done that anyway.

The red was two yellows at worst. One yellow possibly.

I want him to come to OT.

If he were playing at Madrid that would never be red card (in fact he made several of those "semi-aggressions")
Semi? He outright punched people with nothing happening

He's discovering that in CL, not playing for madrid is not the same as playing for madrid

What? I thought he's been good this season. He's usually shite?

He's been decent for us, but he has plenty of games exactly like this where he doesn't contribute either offensively or defensively. He's not shit all the time, but tonight is not the first time he's strolled around doing feck all whilst we are struggling. It's pretty telling a 32 year old David Silva is both further forward while we're attacking and deeper when we're defending and Silva himself has been really poor tonight.

It's amazing really. You'd think people would be happy to face a weaker Juventus especially at home.
The way Ronaldo has been going this season, I doubt Juve are weaker without him. We now have to face Douglas fecking Costa.

Looking for a good night from the United and Celtic "old boys" at the Etihad tonight, Demeble, Denayer and Depay. Hopefully they can "De-rail" City this evening...
The season that Denayer played at CB with van Dijk at Celtic I said more than a few times I thought Denayer would go on to have the better career of the two as I thought he was a superior defender....hasn't quite worked out that way so far, to say the least....
