UEFA Champions League Matchday 1 fixtures (18th - 19th Sep 2018) | Kick off @ 17:55 and 20:00 BST

That's why VAR is needed at the highest level, it's just shocking. One team gets an offside call through on goal, the other scores straight after. Ridiculous.

Liverpool are a tricky team in Europe. They will dominate teams that are inferior. But teams that are more talented then them will typically want more of the ball, and will attack them with intent which opens them up to getting countered.

Juventus or Atl Madrid would be the worst matchup for them out of the big teams.

Robertson's cross was fantastic there. First time as well.

Probably harsh, but think the goalkeeper could have done better even though it was point blank range.

The scoring team might have been offside in the build up to the goal.

Has Jamie Redknap or Carragher ever give public career advice to Sturridge insisting he should leave as he's not 1st choice?

Have to be honest and say I like the idea of both fullbacks being able to put in fine crosses in quick succession.

Scousers jammy as feck with that offside call though of course.

I think is time to just admit it. Liverpool are a damn great team and Klopp is an excellent coach.
