You don't give a pen for blocking a route.
It’s both a dive and a clear penalty. The two are not mutually exclusive, as weird as that may be.
It's also a penalty as he went through mane regardless.

With Lukaku, Martial and Rashford we probably have faster front three than Cavani, Neymar and Mbappe. It's all about the initial pass from Neymar, flick from Mbappe, a through ball from Neymar, cross from Mbappe, front post run from Cavani, late run from Neymar. Everything seemed like something they practiced on training field multiple times. Passes were weighted perfectly. This is a well drilled team which already was technically gifted.

Yep this is the gist of it.
Di Maria made a horrible tackle and Mane botched an easy pen by falling way too early. This ref is completely inept, Veratti gets a yellow for a textbook leg breaker and Milner not booked despite making multiple yellow card challenges.
Does anyone have a river to the PSG-Liverpool game that doesn't buffer every five seconds? Would be much appreciated.

I dont think he rid that challenge. He just fell over onto Di Maria. Di Maria was there for the taking really, his planted leg is a prime target for an expert diver like Vardy.

I mean if he tried to jump over the challenge, his stride would have been put off, and it would have been a penalty anyway even without the contact. It was a severely mistimed challenge.
