UEFA Champions League 18/19 Matchday 5 fixtures (27th - 28th November 2018)

Weird to see the official behind the goal do something for once.

Still think PSG will win this. This game has lived up to its hype, goals guaranteed.

Shit league or not, you'll give anyone a run for their money with a front three of Mbappe, Cavani and Neymar. They have a great chance of winning the competition this year.

No doubt the personnel is there, but it’s very hard to switch it on and off on demand. They have nearly twice the points in the league than 2nd place Lyon, it a joke league.

Once you dive in like that you'll always be at risk of conceding the pen .

Mané dived but it’s also the first time I’ve ever seen the bellend officials behind the goal actually signal for a penalty that the referee wasn’t awarding.

I fecking can’t stand these Scouse pricks. Jammiest bastards imaginable.

Just realised I quoted the wrong person lol. About Clyne what's happened to him

Klopp wants attacking FBs, and Clyne can't attack at all. Gomez is a better offensive RB than Clyne, and a better defensive RB than TAA (who's been suspect). I'd have played Clyne personally.

Yeah, he's initially even made the right verdict for the corner, Marciniak is a shit ref without balls though so he listened to the ref behind the goal.
No, I mean that looked a stonewall pen

Has Milner been booked yet? Like watching Fernandinho here.

As much as it would be fun to see Liverpool get knocked out of the CL, I think PSG will implode in the 2nd half. It's pure panic from them in dealing with the front press from the scouse.

Liverpool were atrocious that half. They're lucky to still be in this game.

Same happened in the reverse fixture but for PSG. We played Napoli off the park in that first 45 yet it was 2-1 at HT.

Milner's just allowed to foul and foul with no repercussions, eh?

It's a clear penalty... on TV they always show these in slow motion to make it look like the players threw themselves but that's not how it happens.

Awful from Di Maria and a good decision by the ref.

He was going to ground before the contact, but let's be honest - You're justified to do so when a stupid sliding tackle like that is coming in at you.

Completely irrelevant really, it was a clear dive as he fell without contact. If Mane ran towards Di Maria and fell after contact it wouldnt have been a dive.

What? Di Maria didn't touch any of the ball

Incredible tackle from Di Maria

Shocking dive from Mane, a disgrace to the game.
Di Maria's idiotic tackle was in his path so would have taken him out a fraction of a second later anyway. In those instances, I'd say it's probably better that the player doesn't intentionally have to kick the tackling player with full force and break his leg just to emphasise contact.

It was a dive. The referee has been allowing Liverpool to hack PSG players without barely doing anything all half.

Milner alone committed at least 3 yellow card offences.

This is where a lack of quality in midfield really hurts us.

It's fine against most in the league but when you come up against proper opposition with Henderson and Milner, you get found out.

You're playing against a team with no midfield, but looks like they don't need one.

I follow this group, it can all change in the second half like it did in both PSG - Napoli games.

So Milner can be allowed to kick everyone as he always does and not even one yellow card for him!

Disgusting usual tactics from Klopp!

And what about Veratti's red card challenge? The ref's just crap

And Mane started falling before Di Maria got any touch of him.
Doesn't make a corner the right decision. Realistically, with a brainless tackle like that you have to give a penalty
