Tyrell Malacia | Man Utd player

Haven't seen him play but sounds promising and he appears to have a good character. Welcome!

Really happy with this. He was one of the links that I found more exciting. Just something about him based on the clips.

Yes physically and his aggression look on the kind of level our players need to be aspiring towards. Now obviously the standard is way harder and it’ll probably be a season or two before he gets to grips with it but a very exciting signing. I’d like a similar signing for midfield. Caciedo would have been another one a year or two back. I think he’s going to develop into a PL player this season now Bissouma is gone

I know absolutely nothing about the guy, and wouldn’t have thought left back was a top priority when we have limited funds, but I could have said the same about Evra when he sighed so Welcome and good luck!

Well we've always been a better team when our LB (shaw or before) are on a high level.

This will help Shaw to get his level up, but I think Malacia will take his spot.

From what I've seen it seems he has that long range shot that Shaw lacks, which is part of the reason we are so easy to defend, as everyone knows he can't finish the play by himself and he has to release the ball, so there's no need to block him, giving other teams the defensive advantage.

I do love ETH weirdness...its probably unfair to call it that...more his personality! you can't help but smile.

He's been my favourite non Ajax player in Holland. He will certainly give 100 % every game for us. I hope people remember that it took Evra a while to get used to the PL, so don't start putting him down the first time he makes a mistake. He will be our left back for a long time

Been a dream signing of mine since last week. Welcome!

Wet dream I hope?

Sounds promising but they all say that when they first sign. Needs to mix in with the right group of players. At least pogba and lingard aren’t there anymore to show bad example.

I think it’s widely accepted by all of our Dutch posters he has a fantastic attitude and leaves it all on the pitch.

Fine.

Not sure he will displace Shaw but a useful option at least. Makes Telles and Williams both unnecessary though, let's hope we can find buyers for them.

Hope we improve right full back as well.

Williams can play either full back spot so could be quite handy really.

For the people wondering: EtH says the word hé quite a lot. It seems like a tick but its fairly common in the region he’s from. Its like saying ‘yes’ or ‘so’.
He doesn’t seem to be able to stop it in English which is hilarious.

Welcome Tyrell! No nothing about him, but wish him the very best!

Sounds like a sensible kid and he has a big beautiful smile!

You all be nice to the young lad when he inevitably makes some mistakes.

More like 'right', but anyway, yes, some meaningless interjecton that makes no sense in English.

It is quite funny the way he says it

This signing is going to go down as the steal of the century. Abosolute bargain for one of the brightest talents in Dutch football. Shaw will have a fight on his hands.

And he’s a good lad by all accounts, humble and a hard worker, in Holland he’s already been seen as a potential future captain of their National side.

from the Telegraph article:

 love him already.

Yes please! Also him saying he will "leave everything on the pitch" these are the sort of young hungry players we want to be signing if we want to fix the broken culture around here.
Just hope he can deliver on the pitch.

Hopefully as well if he puts into practice what he says it's a positive sign about the culture ETH instills in his players

Good to see that we have finally signed a player, albeit a player that we are unlikely to see play for a while, as Shaw is likely to dominate the LB position.
I hope he succeeds, but as with most young players moving to the EPL, the odds are against him.

That is a positive, but he is young and our existing players might get into his head and turn him into a lazy, apathetic player like they are. This is the very reason I wanted many players sold, asap. Their poor mentality is infectious.

Ten Hag reminds me of a kid being so happy with his new toy

Good signing. And for a very good fee. Delighted with both of those factors.

He's a good player now - better than Telles and every chance of displacing Shaw - and has the youth, and seems to have the attitude and desire, to continue to improve even further.

I like the look of his ability. And, especially, his attitude and commitment. I really hope we succeed in adding the likes of Eriksen and Martinez as well - we're definitely targeting the right kind of personnel to improve the dressing room and on field commitment.

He seems like the happiest person on the planet right now!

Absolutely love to see it!

He is dutch. 6th year of traveling there and I still can't get over how funny the language sounds. It's like someone mocking german or something!

I‘ve always thought a stereotypical Dutch accent was speaking like a German in English and then applying a Sean Connery accent to it.

Tyrell’s was a fish shop, not a chippy.

For the latter, I preferred Le(a)vers by the Stamford Hall.

Where was Tyrell's? I remember Macfisheries. My mum used to send me there for herrings.

Edit: Was it on Ashley Road? I have a dim memory of visiting my brother, who was newly-married and lived on Ashley Road near a fishmongers. This would be in 1965 or so.

Ten Hag. He talks funny.
Haven't seen many videos with him before, thought he's more reserved and strict, but this gave me chuckles  The mens finally got one of many new toys to have some joy.

Yeah that's the trouble it's a shame we couldn't have cleared more of them out as the laziness and mentality is absolutely shocking. Hope ETH makes clear to them exactly what's expected and anyone under performing is dropped, regardless of name
