Liverpool would kill to have a 4th choice striker the class of Welbeck. They'lld kill to have a second choice one of that class once Suarez goes to Spain.

I find it highly unlikely a random betting company knows who we are signing. I've done some work with them recently and the organisation is too busy with all forms of betting (horse racing, greyhounds, goals scored etc..) to be tracking down news like this.
I could be wrong, but I feel confident this isn't true.

I can see where you're coming from mate but how does Rooney overtaking Charltons goalscoring record actually change anything for Sir Bobby?
He will still be a club legend, arguably the best player in the clubs history & hugely respected in the game across the world, Rooney scoring more goals than him won't change any of that. The same way Giggs breaking his appearance record changed nothing. No United fans will ever regard Rooney as a true club legend like SBC regardless of how many goals hes scored.
So i don't mind seeing Rooney break the goalscoring record because he plays for United and its unlikely he will be leaving any time soon, so while he still does play for us i want him to do as well as possible and if he breaks the record so be it, it will have meant hes scoring goals that could help us win matches and/or trophies.
If he leaves before he breaks it i won't lose any sleep over it or shed any tears but while he's still our player i couldn't support United while hoping Rooney doesn't score in case he breaks Charltons record, wheres the logic in that.
So, according to @imarkinez, Herrera has given the document with the €36m to the LFP, but there is apparently a ‘technical problem’.
The LFP are looking at it, but if everything goes well, Herrera could be presented by #MUFC on Friday.
