I mean would any other club continue to drip feed the press and piss about with something as important as a new manager.

This needs to be sorted as soon as possible not just in terms of getting it done but haven't we been boasting about how quickly well have deals for players wrapped up?

Don't Barca pretty much know who the manager will be next season?? Hasn't it been known for a while? The Villa Real guy?

I simply pointed out your opinions are based off silly speculation that you present as fact, so yes, you are welcome to your opinion, but there's a reason people ignore it.

I didn't state anything as a fact, that little sign known as a question mark at the end of the sentence represents a question, a suggestion I am not sure of...

And how do you know who the next Barca manager will be...
 
It's done. The announcement doesn't mean shit apart from hearing a few quotes from people. Makes no difference if it's this week or next week.
 
It's as clear as day that it's a done deal. Patience. He's already doing some work with Giggs behind the scenes so not entirely sure what the issue is?
 
I wish journos would stop guessing the announcement, those things almost are never predicted correctly. We all know he will be the next manager, let it be confirmed in due course and get him out of that World Cup asap
 
He's away with Holland. Whether it gets announced today, tomorrow, a week from now or a month from now it makes no actual difference.

They're not guessing, though. Ornstein isn't reporting that unless his source is good. Ogden and Jackson went with the same story at the same time, as they have done all season. It's clear as day that they're being kept in the loop on this one. There's more to it than simple guesswork.

I'm not targeting Ornstein; in fact I think that's one of the most sensible reports on the whole deal. If you go back in this thread most journos have said "announcement today" or "announcement within 48 hours", and then it doesn't get announced, which is obviously guesswork. A statement that he has agreed though is entirely different, and obviously is correct.

Or, we're actually dicking them about a bit. Matt Law's comment above would certainly indicate that, as it looks like we are the ones that are routinely delaying the confirmation.
