I can. If Giggs is shown the door too then Van Gaal better get it right. The fans won't just roll over and accept this circus. I said they wouldn't turn on Moyes at the games but they won't think twice about a guy hired by the Glazers. Especially an appointment that Fergie seems to be distancing himself from.

Why is it a circus?

You've decided it's a circus because we haven't employed Ryan Giggs? It's like you're the outrage correspondent for the Daily Mail.

RVP going away on his jollies to Holland for 2 months because he didn't wanna play under the manager, whilst collecting £200k a week. We all ripped into Tevez and City for doing the exact same thing the other season!

bloody hell!

No you can't.
why not? it happened to moyes...some of our fans seem to have set the Chelsea standard over here.
i if course hope that van gaal.is given enough time and certain fans will not start moaning before he even starts working (as they did with moyes).

So who should be making the decisions then according to you? So far Glazers have listened to SAF by appointing Moyes and then given Moyes a free ride in the transfer market. They even broke our Transfer record in his first few months. They also made a fool of themselves by paying MORE than the release clause for Fellaini because of Dithering Dave.

If anything, it is a good thing that they and Woodward have started to get involved and use their own brains now!
Woodward? Woody is partly to blame for last summer's farce. At the end we ended overpaying for fellaini because we failed miserably in the other transfer dealings.

The only difference is that this time the match going supporters won't hold back. This isn't 'Fergies guy', he's an outsider that will be brought in by the Glazers. He's like a lamb to the slaughter if he doesn't get it spot on straight away.

The difference is that van gaal is a proven top class manager, is experienced and people trust him to get it right. Moyes from the start had no idea what he was doing and plenty of people always suspected that would be the case. Van gaal is on a completely other level to moyes, so we won't have the same problems. Just like nobody doubted Fergie ever, Van Gaal has the pedigree and experience that shows he clearly knows what he's doing, and he can be successful if given time.

FFS people really think RVP wasn't injured, he got carried off the pitch

your all missing the point he got injured on purpose cuz moyes was such a dik

No one gets injured on purpose with a World Cup round the corner.

That's true, at least if and when we have a bad run of games (happens to all) we'll have the fact this guy has a decent history to offer hope and some assurance if nothing else, part of the problem with Moyes, as you say...was the immense doubt due to him not having a past history of success at the top to fall back on.

I'll give it to RVP, he's a damn sight smarter than Tevez in formulating an elaborate scheme to not play for his manager. I suppose he could have not scored the hat-trick to give Moyes a stay of execution too but then that would have been too blatant.

Nope! Not Woodward's fault if Moyes has unrealistic targets or can't decide who he wants. His only fault is that he actually AGREED to pay that much for Fellaini.

I wouldn't call that a fault on Woodwards part. He had to back Moyes 100%. It was Moyes' fault for dithering over it.

omg wot r u? obvious he did an injury that wud be fixed by then.

 Yes he "did an injury" to avoid Moyes while recovering in time to be ready for the World Cup. What precision. Guess Kevin Strootman should take lessons in injury from our Robin.

Or the truth : He actually got injured and made a normal progression towards fitness.

Our medical doctors who examined him initially after the Olympiacos game must be in on it as well, and continue to corroborate his story to this very day, without any leaks.. controversial news from OT has been able to be kept very hush, hush over the past year, as we all know.
Proper tin foil hat time, think this season has literally driven some to the point of their sanity collapsing.

Hopefully, the notion of "wing play".

:D

any1 with eyes could see van persie hated moyes will all his guts n lungs mate. do you not even have any eyes?

Yes I do man. But I don't think he'll pull a charade and feign injury just to get rid of a manager he doesn't like. He has a long injury record and sometimes they recur and it takes a while for him to rehabilitate. If he genuinely hated the manager he wouldn't have scored those 3 goals that night. Recent reports suggest that we were incredibly close to letting Moyes go had we crashed out of Europe to Olympiakos. It would've been much easier for Robin to just not score that night and see the guillotine fall on David's head sooner than it eventually did. Anyway that's just how I feel. Maybe he's some Machiavellian con artist lurking in the shadows. :D

I felt bad when I saw his post count. He didn't even call me a dick or anything.

Fair play.

woody himself was under a lot of stick last summer and he admitted that he was still learning the job

You know Alock is messing about, right? He doesn't really think RvP injured himself on purpose. Hes poking fun at the guy who genuinely thinks he was on his jollies in Holland because he didn't like Moyes.
