Lallana is most likely going to Liverpool, and Carvalho seems to be unlikely now as there hasn't been any speculation for a while. Our scouts have looked at him 15+ times so he may still be a target, but the silence isn't a good sign.

What's the Mata with Hazard? If Chelsea need to get rid, I would pay almost anything to get him! He can then enjoy his football again together with Mata under LvG! He is their only attacking player I would like to have! Schürrle however I wouldn't even take if offered for free to us! Willian is a better player than Schürrle but we don't need him, and while Oscar is quality I prefer Mata in that role.

Since Van Gaal is also a possesion football guy I don't think you'll see much dribbling from CMs and let's be honest with Carrick, Cleverley, Fletcher and Fellaini as our current options ... we haven't had one in a while.
He will be 29 in august so he is quite old.
Depending on his value/contract situation I would still take a gamble
he also likes defenders who make good use of the ball - at Bayern he put a midfielder like demichelis in defence. My guess is that carrick has a good chance of following suit..
