When did people start rating Strootman exactly? I remember back when I was in the newbs that the general consensus was that he wasn't all that, but now people seem to really, really rate him.
"Isn't all that" is still a giant upgrade on our current midfield though.

Strootman and Vidal. Good god, what a feast that would be after such a famine.
Since this season mostly. I had my doubts as well, since he wasn't outstanding in the under 21s tournament last summer, he was alright, and it's always hard to tell whether someone from the Eredivisie can make the step-up. He basically did that and actually improved as it looks.
Im presuming they are new. He hasnt said anything otherwise
