I expect Chelsea to win the title next season if they get Costa and Fab. They've upgraded already in two moves, out goes Frank, incoming is Cesc and they get a reliably dangerous goal scorer which they really need.

I don't think he will be happy on the left and a 4-4-2 diamond will leave us overrun in midfield. I think the way forward is one up top and I think that should be RVP.
I like how people would decline Fabregas and disregard his PL experience, but would pay £40 Million for Barkley, and use his PL experience as a plus point. Also, you could argue that Fabregas is more of a CM than Barkley anyway.
Fabregas is quality. If van Gaal thinks other players will suit his system better, then so be it. Lets not kid ourselves though, Chelsea have a top player.

For me it's not about him being a cnut, he just isn't the right sort of player. The main reason Barca want him out is because he can't play CM.
Good luck to them finding the next Xavi. They will fail.
Not rating Fabregas is moronic in fairness.
Xavi is irreplaceable but they will get Koke which is arguably an upgrade over Fabregas and if it's not an upgrade now, it will be soon (age on his side).
Lets hope they don't restrict Koke and let him express himself then.

We need a Vidal or a fully fit Strootman.
First of all, he doesn't and has never wanted to play for us. Last summer he had his agent bait us into action, in order to prove a point to Barca. This cnut also threw pizza at Sir Alex ferguson, forcing him to have to change his clothes before a television interview, or has everybody forgotten about that?
