Are....are we a second tier club?
We decided not to go for him a few weeks ago, remember? As sad as it is that we're turning down the chance to go for someone like Fabregas, it doesn't make us a secnd tier club.Are....are we a second tier club?

We didn't qualify for Europe and have a very unbalanced squad. so in terms of our standing as a team then yes we're miles behind the very best sides and don't have the attraction of playing Champions League. We're going to have to hope that there's a few mercenaries going and that the size of the club and the contract will attract players. My suspicion is we won't get any really outstanding players but 3 or maybe 4 very decent ones. You need to stop being so emotional about transfers though, maybe Van Gaal genuinely doesn't want Fabregas.Are....are we a second tier club?

13 titles in 22 or so years puts the importance of it in perspective though doesn't it? How do we all get by...we United supporters are so dedicated.Gotta love being a United fan in summer transfer windows Years and years of disappointment and missing out on the good players or our main targets. I'm amazed we signed Van Persie and Kagawa in 2012 really, though we still missed out on Lucas and Hazard...
Chelsea just aren't fecking around. Doing what we should be doing.

We really do have to pull out something like Koke or Schweinsteiger if we are passing up on Fabregas, surely?...
Yes but they have the benefit of A) not changing their list of targets just before the summer starts and B) not leaving their choice in potential targets solely up to the manager.
Personally, I'm happy enough to change all our targets if that's the cost of getting rid of Moyes and I'm glad we're letting LVG have full control over who we bring in.
There is a downside to that though and in this case it means a delay in our dealings this summer.
I've said many times, for a lot of fans the last 10 years can be summed up as "crap, outspent by City, didn't sign a midfielder." I say it a lot, sometimes in jest, but a good chunk of fans actually genuinely do seem to think like this.
Nobody relevant follows Rafael hernandez, he just gets followers because of the baiting tweets he sends out
Yep. If things don't start happening after the WC then I'll start getting flashbacks to last summer but until then we should chill.
New targets and a WC delaying things. Lack of early signings should be no surprise.
On the outside where Roy also plans to use him for the WC and hope he still has the pace to do an adequate job there. If not, then we're probably going to play the 4-4-2 diamond which utilizes a No.10 (Mata) and two strikers up front.Where do people think we should play Rooney next season. I can't see a place for him.
We were in discussions with LvG for many weeks. What was Woodward talking to him about? The weather? Considering our situation, an agreed target list should have been a priority.
If there's a proper sense of urgency, and capable people doing the business, transfer negotiations don't have to take very long. Chelsea may have just demonstrated that once again.
Most of his best performances have come from the right this season, he has literally played everywhere in midfield and up front though.Where is Mullers best position?
If he is a winger then I'm all for this transfer, if not then we need to buy elsewhere.
He seems to be used quite a lot as a false 9, other than that I always thought he is natural AMR. We don't need him.Where is Mullers best position?

Well only a week or so left until the World Cup, and Tony nearly got his leg broken. I would certainly be pissed off.Stupid tackle by Sterling, but Valencia should know better.
I don't think neither of them should have gotten red cards. It is the heat of the moment in a friendly, I say let it go.
