Last summer we appointed David Moyes and signed Fellaini. This summer we've appointed Louis van Gaal and signed nobody so far.

This summer is already 100 X better

De Telegraaf in Holland have been the most reliable so far from all the media outlets.

This will attract laughing smileys but this is very much true.

Could you link me to that list please? Just curious.

I don't have a link but there are tweets from a Dutch journalist about it on page 157 of this thread. James Scowcroft, ex Ipswich striker and UWS contributor tweeted the exact same list last week but also included Shaw. Maybe he got some inside info from Mitten, given he writes for the fanzine.

It's Hummels, Strootman, Koloplyanka and Schweinsteiger.

Onazi:"1st, let me state unequivocally that I 've no link whatsoever 2 any individual/group with ties to the corrupt issues of matchfixing."

Nigerian keeper re: match fixing allegations in Scotland vs Nigeria match.
if i find this in my spam folder, i ll believe him.... :)

That ain't the keeper, it's Lazio's midfielder who got called into a meeting with an agent and some other guy who was an undercover reporter. The agent said he'd fix World Cup games etc for Nigeria so brought Onazi in to the meeting although he's apparently not involved so guess that's what he's clearing up.

Daniel Taylor is basically admitting that they don't have a fecking clue. Yet they write a couple of new articles listing player after player that we are supposedly on the verge of signing, on a daily basis.

It's a good thing if Woodward is getting things done quietly.

I dislike this Rafael Hernandez. The only person with any credibility who follows him is Duncan Castles It doesn't seem anyone with any credibility follows him.

Having never really followed LVG's teams closely (outside of when we played against them) are his signings normally well kept secrets up until close to signature?

From Daniel Taylor's tweets it would seem he has no interest in feeding the tabloids any leads.

 Twitter fecking hell.

And so that's how it should be, yeah of course us mere mortals want to know the ins and outs, but it should be left to the clubs to negotiate their deals and not give power to the tabloids.

He isn't much of a spender tbh. He vetod the Neuer deal until he was gone.

I think de Telegraaf list seems the most plausible, as they broke the whole Glazer/Van Gaal thing. But I wouldn't be suprised if the Koke thing is true. Even good spanish papers were among the ones reporting our interest in him.

So if that "Telegraaf" list is to be believed, we are in for Strootman, Konopylanka, Hummels, Schweinsteiger.. Not too overwhelming to be honest
 Probably no interest in Shaw either I take it.

So Arsenal and City have been declared out by the media at least as of right now. Things can change quickly but as of now that leaves only United and Chelsea. Watch him not even leave, this is just all smoke and mirrors.

Of course City aren't in for him - they only have 50m to spend and are after a top centre half and probably a DM too.

We'll only get Konopylanka out of that lot (and Shaw). I hope he was back up options.

It's a tweet by the daily mail's head football writer Ian Ladyman. It says that City are not in the bidding for Fabregas who plays for Barcelona.
Really, I missed all that. Great to have very bright posters like you around.

I can't see him joining another London based team to be fair.
Join us Cesc, yessssss

Van Gaal is leaking the info to De Telegraaf in Holland, they've been spot on with everything thus far.
