I think City know very well that Platini would happily throw them under the bus whilst for PSG it's a bit different because of Platini's links, but if they let PSG do as they are doing now then City,Chelsea and others can rightfully cry wolf and have a leg to stand on . I also suspect that PSG will shift a number of players to get in line with the rules, if need be, and in Veratti, Lucas, Cavani and Pastore they have the players that are replaceable but who could command high fees on the market .While PSG have taken the 'don't give a feck' stance, everything points towards City falling into line.
