Lambert wouldn't exactly be a bad signing for a reasonable price, to be fair. A good alternative off the bench with the extra games they'll have.
Assuming, of course, that Madrid don't click their fingers at Suarez this summer.

Are there people on Twitter that constantly check and compare what accounts other people are following?

You've recently started following from redcafe brewlio, red devil and skeldinator amongst others.

As soon as some transfer linked player follows some player of the team he is linked to, someone is on the case. I'm assuming they just keep on checking the followers list unless you get updates of who followed who on twitter.

Ah, ok. Still sounds a bit sad to me, but I wont judge others (even though I guess I already did).

Dortmund's replacement for hummels? :wenger:
According to reports in Italy, Borussia Dortmund will rival Lazio in a bid to sign Feyenoord centre back Stefan de Vrij.

Serie A side Lazio seemed certain to wrap up a deal for De Vrij, after apparently agreeing an €8 million fee for the 24-year-old, with only the matter of how the money will be paid to Feyenoord standing in the way of the move being completed.

However Italian newspaper La Repubblica are reporting that Feyenoord have put the deal on hold after German side Borussia Dortmund entered the race. The Bundesliga giants have not yet made an official bid, but with Mats Hummels set to leave this summer, De Vrij could be the perfect replacement.

De Vrij himself would not be drawn into speaking about any move today, with the defender concentrating on Netherlands friendly with Ghana this Saturday.

He told ANP, “I dont want to say anything about that. I’m here for the Oranje now and not for Feyenoord.”

“Just ask the coach. I focus entirely on the World Cup,”

Finally Liverpool are linked with someone they may not want!

Imagine we will be "only" 265 million in debt. All hail glazers.

Mother fecking leeches, sons of whares.

I'd like to know the figures behind it. We'll be spending a lot of money this year (hopefully) and our revenues will be suffering a bit as well. I don't know how they'll manage to cut down the debt by about 90m in a single season.

Got to be front loaded sponsorship from Nike and Chevrolet in there for that to happen.

How the feck can they buy someone so quickly and we are being stringed along by shaw?

Because Southampton have snatched Liverpool hand off for the reported £15m fee. That's a fecking load of money for a 32 year old striker who isn't that great anyway.

Edit: I hear the fee could be upwards of £9m which makes it a little more understandable.

They're probably pissing thenselves that Liverpool have offered 9 million for him.

I'd imagine we're working together to feck over Bournemouth. The Lallana fee will probably be less this way.

Liverpool spending 15 million on a 32-year-old backup player? Not jealous.

Sorry, where are people getting the 15 million from?

Really happy if this deal happens. Exactly the type of signings that make me believe they won't sustain a title challenge next season and that their squad will still struggle to contend with domestic and European football. He is a massive upgrade on Aspas however, but I don't think he will be much of an improvement on Borini as a third choice striker though.

Happy for Lambert. I know he is signing for them, but they are a huge club and will be playing in the Champions League next season. The guy has worked his way up the leagues into the national team and now probably to the Champions League. 15 million is a lot of money, can't imagine them paying that for a 32 year old.

None of you bothered to read what Ralph Krueger (Southampton chairman) said?

Pochettino's departure has been reported to be a pre-cursor to several leading players also leaving but Krueger said there are no deals in place for either Adam Lallana or Luke Shaw.

"Under the circumstances we wanted to wait to clarify the manager's situation to move forward. There are no deals done," Krueger said.

No deal done due to them wanting to sort things out with Pochettino first. Now he's gone, they'll be looking for a new manager then will deal with the transfers. Unlikely to hear anything until after World Cup and that's the same for all of Shaw, Lallana, Lambert and anyone else linked with moves - though with Lambert being the age he is and the fee reported, wouldn't surprise me if that did happen before a manager was appointed.

Again, we'll probably pay a tonne for Lovren and Lambert and very little for Lallana.

Random signing. They probably would just be better off bringing through a youngster for depth considering his age and him just being a decent player at best.
