I don't understand the need and the urge to wait until after the World cup to sign Shaw. Just get it done now ffs.

Hold up is on Southampton's end. Won't be until they've got a new manager in that it might be done and Krueger has confirmed that nothing had been done before as they wanted to clarify whether Pochettino would be staying or leaving first:

"Under the circumstances we wanted to wait to clarify the manager's situation to move forward. There are no deals done," Krueger said.

I see, unfortunate circumstances as in this transfer window, it would have been in our best interest not to delay any transfer business but so be it.

Saw an interview with the Southampton guy last night, saying that no deals were done and no one would be leaving until they sorted out the manager situation, and then began to say players that would leave, it will be on the clubs terms. From that I don't imagine it is United who is delaying the transfer.

EDIT: Got the link: http://www1.skysports.com/football/...finding-a-replacement-for-mauricio-pochettino

I want Koke. I want Koke badly.

Yes, same here from from more of a marketing revenue perspective.

If he signs and does really well we can say "Koke is it!" Roll on mega-million deal with Coca-Cola...

I'd imagine he's currently with the England squad what with them playing a friendly tomorrow night. So the weekend will probably be the only window of opportunity now.

Marcos Senna still plays? Whoa.
- I just checked, he's in the MLS. Bloody hell. He can still probably ping a ball better than some of the midfielders we have at the moment, to be fair.

He actually plays in the division below MLS for the NY Cosmos in NASL

@Cina is the official mod of this thread. Due to the constant spamming of this thread, it's necessary that you guys PM him every tweet and get his okay before posting them here. We know it's a hassle but this thread has gone to gutter now.

Gone are the days when I could abuse my mod power and warn you for this post.

I hope he has lawyers suing the feck out of them if that's true. Just because sports' journalism isn't generally of much consequence doesn't mean they should be allowed to just write whatever they want.
