Yeah I proper need one please. Can't do without it.
I can see we've signed 2 players but I just find it hard to comprehend that other teams have been getting their business done quicker than we are doing... after all the deals we wrap up on the business/sponsor side of things it's baffling to see us not getting our players.

Think about it... We've signed two players, that's no secret. Every other club in the league, bar Exeter have signed 3 or more therefore we are second to last in terms of players signed. It's basic maths.

It means nothing though, I'd take the two we have signed over most other clubs signings. It's a useless stat as in quantity we might be behind some league 2 side who might have signed 4 free transfer shite players from the league below them. We're "behind them" according to that stat but would you swap Shaw and Herrera for 4 poor quality league 2 players?

For 20M plus a Nani loan, arent we getting into Benatia territory?
That is senior defender type money.
we don t know exactly roma s price, not to mention reports suggesting that benatia prefer Munich and London to Manchester.

20 mill euros so thats around just over 15 million so not too bad . If nani goes there on loan it can only mean 1 thing ... Welcome to old trafford angel di Maria !!

That list had Herrera and Shaw too presumably then. At most it would have had 1 more player but i doubt very much given what he has said after taking over that he wanted to make wholesale signings before taking over.

If he did then he wouldn't have asked for 3 weeks squad evaluation time etc.. after taking over. I am a bit confused as to what is happening behind the scenes as the signals Woodward gave were different but i think they both are working on different timelines and tracks till now.

The list did not have Shaw or Herrera. They are Moyes transfers which were underway and Van Gaal approved completion of.

Funny how SkyItalia reporters are suddenly reliable here now.

I also heard we will be paying the total wages for Nani during the loan as well. Which is insane if true.
Maybe LvG wants these unwanted player out of the way, not moping around the place. Out of sight, out of mind. It the money Nani is on. Why?

Sport 1 (German tv channel) will report something about Benatia and Bayern in a couple of minutes.
In their preview it looked like someone from Benatia's camp met with Rummenigge, but not sure yet.
Will post any news when they show it.

Picture of the meeting:

From the newbs.

i don't blame lvg if that s the case. The last thing you d want in your team is somebody with his mind elsewhere. It s the best solution for all parties

Well if Van Gaal didn't want them they wouldn't be signed. Pretty sure of that.

Doubt he had a comprehensive list of more than 2/3 signings anyway given his comments after taking over as i've said and the job he was doing at the time and with WC coming up.

Nani hasn't been focused for a while, so what do they do? Give him a new contract, so he can be unfocused at United for even longer.

We really just need to put Woodward back into his marketing role and move on, he may have donr other good things for thr club which he is loved for by the Glaziers but hes become a laughing stock and is making a fool out of us

Well that's not a very good deal.

With two weeks left in the window we're bound to overpay on anyone we sign. Best to think of it as a sort of desperation tax.

Plus we probably want to get rid of Nani anyway.
