Sometimes the street has to get dirtier before it gets cleaner.
Lets get this cleared up and cleared up now
I can see Woodward being sided with in such a situation given he's close to the glazers.

Nothing would be upset me more about this club right now than LVG leaving.

Not even going to bother with bing/google translate. Will probably say Arthur Vidal is English and wants to leave italian to make romance with united forces.

Or something.

At least the media criticism of Woodward is picking up now too. Time for Scholes and Neville to step up and go full blast on him.
Scholes might. Neville won't. He's a united ambassador who doesn't want to burn bridges as seen last season.

"Football writer, broadcaster, columnist Football Grapevine Mail On Line."

Doesn't sound particularly reliable. Anyone familiar with this guy?

Sounds bollocks, I can imagine LvG and Woody will be meeting up daily to discuss plans.

Anyway, I'm tempted to chuck £10 on Fergie to be next manager, LvG to walk out?!

Every freaking year we are linked to that piece of averageness.
Nothing in it but we always get linked to the same players over and over-Sneijder, Huntelaar, Gaitan, they have to pick a new name every now and then.

I see something about ''in England''so they are probably referring to English media sources claiming this and that. Nothing to see.

Not sure i believe it to be honest, but it's needed in all fairness.

We can see that the Glazers are willing to spend to improve the squad, and van Gaal is saying he needs players.
Then we have Woodward who seems hell bent on not wanting to spend and if he has too, appears to be low balling or arguing over price. I think it's time he realizes that if we don't spend, we could be in some serious trouble.

Plus to people saying no one wants to join us, we're not an attractive club anymore, if that's the case, how did Arsenal end up signing Ozil and Sanchez? We had one bad season, under a bad manager. It makes us no less attractive than we were. Most players know that the lack of Champions League football will most likely be one season. Next season we'll most likely finish top 4 and be back in the CL. Whilst we were winning the league or fighting hard, Arsenal were celebrating 4th place as a huge victory, and have won 9 trophies (inc Community Shield) in 14 years compared to our 19 (inc Fifa Club World Cup). Yet Arsenal can sign 2 admittedly world class players and some top prospects? I think it all boils down to the fact that Woodward just isn't willing to pay what is needed, and will try to get as much knocked off as possible, or just leave it until the last minute hoping the other club caves in and accepts our offer. He should have learnt from last season that just doesn't, and won't ever, work.

In England say that Vidal has minimal chance of reaching Manchester United

If anyone needs proof of how much a bellend Jackson is, have a read at that article and his line on Herrera.

I think money is available but wether Woodward is capable of closing these deals I'm still not sure.

You need a credible source?

We've signed two players. Numerically speaking the best possible position we could be in is 90/92.
Yeah I proper need one please. Can't do without it.
I can see we've signed 2 players but I just find it hard to comprehend that other teams have been getting their business done quicker than we are doing... after all the deals we wrap up on the business/sponsor side of things it's baffling to see us not getting our players.

In England, they're sure that Vidal has minimal options to arrive at Manchester United. That's my translation.

Can we send a rescue beacon to David Gill? Pay him Woodward's annual salary for 2 weeks work so we can actually sign a few players?

Against Swansea Ander Herrera, the £29m signing from Athletic Bilbao – who arrived over two months ago – continued his disappointing pre-season form.
What? :wenger::wenger:

I can bet that LVG wouldnt be leaving; I think Woodward would be put back on sponsorship duty because I think even the Glazers know the worth of Van Gaal.

It says in England Vidal has minimal chance of joining Utd, in the article it's just saying the same things that has been said during the summer, that we are still concerned about his knee.

Seems like the Chilean press have given up pretending to be in the know about the Vidal saga (if there was one to begin with) and are finally laying low after telling us 10 times that Vidal is going to United and this and that has been agreed.

 We've reverted to taking digs at City's transfers rather than complete our own.

Bloody hell. You're amongst the worst posters here.

DT is saying that United thought of Mangala like that and that's why didn't continue their interest. Not a dig at City.
