I don't agree. I think he is a decent player but he's at the wrong age and he is declining. I'd much rather Blind, Schneiderlin, Carvalho, Gustavo, McCarthy... There's a few out there.

Normal cumstom is not to include wages in reported transfer fees, as they aren't actually transfer fees, they are salary costs. Only reason they do it I bet is because £50m just doesn't sound as sweet at first sight as £100m and they can attract more attention with a £100m headline...
