Any news on him? Read he was injured in the Man Utd U21s match against Norwich U21s thread. Couldn't find anything on the net though. With Chicharito starting, RVP unavailable and Welbeck possibly out, I wouldn't mind seeing him on the bench.
EDIT: He was injured in the training prior to the match against Valencia. Any news on the severity of the injury?
Wilson did score 4 goals against Man City just a week ago. So I'm guessing if he hasn't picked another knock , he's fine.

According to Di Marzio it will be a 1 year loan. Rojo for 16m and Nani for 1 year?
Guess that will be the way to appease them.
If it gets the Rojo deal sorted out, then I'm all for it. Nani's United career needs to end for his own good and he'll be loved back at Sporting, and will play every week.
even if we end up paying most of his wages, this could still be a good deal for us. He might have a good season there, boosting his resale value price. Actually i think this is the only way forward,asi can t see him playing regularly for us again.

Yep, as much as I like Nani his time here needs to end for both the player and the club. If him going to Sporting on loan would help push through the deal for Rojo then I think it would be a good deal for both parties.
Think it's fairly clear we'll be picking up the majority of his wage, would rather he was just sold and off the books to be honest, but obviously no takers.
That would be a good middle-ground for both clubs, you'd think.
I think we should probably use players like that as bargaining chip more often. People like Anderson / Nani are going to be hard to sell, so if we want an incoming player we should use them as a makeweight.
If its a loan for Nani there is even an outside chance that he hits a bit of form. Could be a win win situation.

If this is true, and you sign Blind, you'd hope van Gaal's protege, Frank De Boer has told van Gaal that Blind is a holding midfielder.
I'm pretty sure Van Gaals know a little bit about Blind himself.
Not going to dispute that. Can see van Gaal playing him at left back even though that's not his best role.
Don't worry, I heard that LVG likes to know what position all of his signings play. He's very thorough like that.
I doubt he'd start anyway when everyone is fit unless Blind is the only other player they sign.
He's not, nailed on for Shaw surely. If we buy him he'll mostly be utilised as a central midfielder.

We have no pace with the 3-5-2. I think we need to play a 4-3-3 with Januzaj and a new quick winger on the wings.

Realism has set in for me on the signings front.
An elite player like Vidal or Di Maria isn't going to touch United with a ten foot pole in our current state. It's too much of a risk with their career. They're not going to give up playing in the Champions League with team-mates like Ronaldo, Bale, Modric, Pirlo and Pogba. You think they'll drop that and play with players like Young, Fletcher and Fellaini? Not a prayer, and we don't offer oil money wages to even tempt them into giving us a second glance.
