He'll start in midfield if we don't sign anybody else.

Disagree that we have enough squad players especially when by all account we want to offload all of our current squad players (Nani, Anderson, Fellaini etc etc)

Possibly but Fletcher and Carrick will have a lot to say about that. Given his current injury and before that question marks over his fitness I'd say Shaw would be in the most immediate danger if we got Blind

How come?
Only lived in Mexico for 3 months so never really got to learn any of the commentators, just asked a few of the people i got to know while staying there about their opinion on him and all of them seemed to like him a lot, calling him 'the best'.

Dear god. Well, trust me on this one, I do know most of them, I've read and heard them and I can tell you he's probably the worst. He's racist, he's arrogant, he's an attention-seeker and pretentious twat.

.. If he's an attention seeker, then he might've just wanted to bump his followers up a bit on Twitter.
 
They're all spoofers. The Twitter thread has essentially become obsolete this summer, still great fun though...

It's much like he scouse boom/bust cycle. Even though everyone knows that twitter transfer rumours are 99% bullshit, 1% informed guesswork, we, all of us, every transfer window put way too much stock in the ramblings of people we'd ignore at any other time.

Start of transfer window - Warchest, Yeah! Sign all the players.
Mid point - Equal mix of 'this deal is dead in the water', 'you never know' and 'smokescreen'
Near end of window - FML, United can't sign big players, feck Woody, feck Moyes, Fergie left us in this state.

Basically they've whittled down our usually massive list of targets to, Vidal, Di Maria, Cuadrado, Rojo, Blind and Benatia. Any, all, or none of those are likely to come, depending on who you believe.
 
Mitten hasn't got a fecking clue. he's been told what we've all been told. "loads of money to spend, intend to spend it, biggest club" etc.
Would have prefered all this to be done before the start of the season but thats just not going to happen now.

Still expecting lots of movement in the last 7 days.
