Why? When you look at what the likes of Sunderland were willing to pay for someone like Borini or West Ham with Carroll, why shouldn't Hernandez go for atleast 18 million.
He isn't great in terms of allround play but he'll get you 20 goals a season if he starts regularly. For a team other than perhaps the top 6 that would be vital.
Thing is he has to want to go to the clubs that will pay lots for him, Southampton may well have paid £20 million + but he doesn't want to go there, Juve, or A Madrid who he likely would go to couldn't afford, or wouldn't pay that, so will bid less in the Knowledge we want to sell, and he wants to go.
Reckon we'll get £12-£14 million outright, or hopefully he'll be part of the Vidal deal.

Daley Blind has been bloody brilliant for Ajax for about 2 seasons now, he's versatile and at £15m he could easily be one of the biggest bargains this transfer window.
