Van gaal is getting pissed off with the lack of action then. Sounds like we haven't got a clue what we are doing.

It feels like last summer, except this year we have a more experienced big head as opposed to a crinkly wrinkly flapper as manager. Also, this year we are watching a space.

billy hines @rednewbury
@BenSmithBBC liverpool Bony interest mate?

Ben Smith @BenSmithBBC
@rednewbury real interest but wages a big problem.

Tbf was always going to be tough if LvG was true to his word & wanted to wait until after the tour to get players in, not saying that's true, but seems to be the way of things, article is fairly promising if true, clearly in for Vidal, and would go back for Carvalho if it's a no go, wouldn't be a bad back up.

You can bet Anderson will be all too happy to sit on his arse and collect his wages for another year.

Also, look at this masterclass of an interview.

I long for those heady days of a few weeks ago when Jamie Jackson said we weren't willing to match their asking price of £34m. That was transfer bullshit you could set your watch to.

The way I read it is the assessing stuff was nonsense - there was players he wanted brought in early and Woodward hasn't got it done. That's the gist of what he is saying

Some crazy figures being thrown about, but I am not going to complain about us overpaying this close to the start of the season.

Just get it done Woody/LvG.

Way I read it too initially but just not sure anymore, sure LvG gave him an idea of who he wanted but maybe put it on hold during the tour whilst he looked at the squad, now he has given the green light and woody struggling at the moment, time yet though.

I like Lindegaard, he'd be a good 'keeper for any Premier League side. I wouldn't begrudge him a move, he's arguably the best no. 2 'keeper in the league, well at least he was before one of Cech or Courtois finds himself on the bench.

Hart/Caballero? Ospina?

Anderson should get to f**k!!

Absolute cheeky cnut!!....LVG should tip his locker out onto the road and piss on it, and then rub his goldmember all over the insolent little shit's face!!

Why blame Anderson? It's Ferguson's fault for hanging onto two players (the other being Nani), who he should have got shot off a long time ago.

I find the Delaney piece a bit strange. Van Gaal himself said he wants to assess the squad on tour. We've only been back for a short while. Also, what's Ed to do if Wenger doesn't want to sell to us by asking for Smalling in return? Also why would a club source say that van Gaal is pissed off with United. Hell, he is United now and I'd assume this source works for United and wouldn't paint us badly like that. Makes no sense to me
