We were never in for Di Maria lads. There was nothing in the fact that LVG mentioned him by name. Anyone disappointed at this news was fooling themselves in the first place.

People are having meltdowns cause of that TrueRedDevil tweet (afaik he doesn't work for United/isn't a journo). Would it get treated the same way if it had said we had a bid accepted? Somehow I don't think so.
This is true but Jackson/Ducker/Ogden/Anderson aren't and have never been WUMs. Their opinions are probably worth about as much as yours and mine but when it comes to solid info they have solid sources.

That would be suicide for LGV and Woody, and the latter would lose his job as sponsors will start pulling out. Many of their contracts would be structured with some level of success, so i doubt he'd be that stupid. Either that or he is waiting for the January window...like DM did last year.

Looks like a lack of Champions League football has been a decisive factor. Blind + Vlaar and call it a day - some cover is better than no cover.

Looks the most likely scenario given there's only a few days for the season to start. Were sluggish as feck in the transfer market so I wouldn't expect us to actual complete a signing by Saturday. I just hope this doesn't become an issue between LVG and the club hierarchy in the future. If he feels let down he doesn't seem the sort to hide it.
