What a crock of a player. Dodged a big bullet right there..
Thank you AW for being nice to us and refusing to sell him.

He's a perma-crock, just like Hargreaves. He's also 29 in November. Bullet well and truly dodged. Thanks Barca / Arsene.
It's the same injury since the World Cup, you divs.
It still doesn't change the fact he's a sick note. It's the same injury since the World Cup, you divs.

How much playing time did he get at the WC? When did he get injured?
Against Algeria, i think it was the first game.
Cheers.
Has anyone mentioned that we have dodged a bullet with Vermaelen?
What joke, it is like saying Sterling is a Liverpool product when he came through QPR's academy. Poaching other teams youth academy players and then claiming they are your product is the joke. He played in the academy enough said/Aye but he joined Arsenal at 14, a couple months before he turned 15. Came through playing for the u16s and u18s and spent just as much time in Arsenal's academy as he did in Wimbledon's. Arsenal are also the ones who switched him to LB from LW. So although he may have came through Wimbledon's academy he also came through Arsenal's rendering the joke inaccurate and shit.
Yep, makes you wonder how he passed his medical.

Can't we get sign up his barber first
He had third party ownership. Now there's an example of another club involved in a protracted transfer saga. But United are the only ones to do that eh

Falcao to Madrid seems to be taking time aswell. Now there's an example of another club involved in a protracted transfer saga. But United are the only ones to do that eh

Further showing that transfers can be complicated for a plethora of reasons
I never understood this. So because Luiz starts because of Miranda his better? Or Marcelo better then Luis?£30m for someone who can't get past Sakho in the national side. Excellent.
been saying the exact thing for quite some time. hes young and typically as a CB needs age/experience on his side to get better at his trade. he isnt the finished product but has the potential to be world class in a couple of years. good signing, exactly the kind of signing city needed.I never understood this. Yeah it doesn't mean much. Debuchy was starting ahead of Sagna, when he's clearly inferior. Nasri wasn't even in the squad.I never understood this. So because Luiz starts because of Miranda his better? Or Marcelo better then Luis?
Scolari was an idiot and just picked his favorites regardless of their form or level of play. It's why Hulk repeatedly started and why Marcelo kept starting when he can't defend.I never understood this. So because Luiz starts because of Miranda his better? Or Marcelo better then Luis?
Exactly, he might not be as good as Benatia right now but Mangala is very young and will only get better.been saying the exact thing for quite some time. hes young and typically as a CB needs age/experience on his side to get better at his trade. he isnt the finished product but has the potential to be world class in a couple of years. good signing, exactly the kind of signing city needed.
Not exactly surprising it came a day after Barcelona publicly say their interested in Cuardrado.
