I could quite happily let Cuadrado go to Barca if we get Di Maria instead.
Best right back in the league the year before last. And at his age. Just injuries letting him down. If he can stay fit this year I'm confident he can regain that form.

I happily take that deal too.The only problem would be having to listen to thousand's of posts moaning about someone (probably Rooney) having to play out of position.
In my opinion there is no such thing as playing out of position for great players playing in a well organised system under a competent manager.
The think Di Maria, Rooney, RVP and Mata would make a great attacking quartet.

So Pique and Vermaelen as a centre back pairing? IIRC I do remember reading that the new coach did say Mascherano would be played in midfield this season...
Due to the high amount of possession, no RB spends as much time in the opposition half as Alves. So even in a 4-3-3, he could still play as RB. But offcourse Alves is a lot better defensivly compared to what ive seen from Cuadrado (very little).
