He's 182cm, which is 5.97112861 feet tall. Otherwise known as 6 ft tall. Maybe his own mouth is less reliable than your "accurate sites", but I doubt it.
I don't think you know how foot and inches work. 5.97 is close to 5.10 not 6ft.

That would make sense if he was a winger, but clearly he's a RB. Therefore, comparing two different sets of skills is not a good idea. Unless of course you are solely referring to their blistering pace.

Well he played RW for the US didn't he?

Nah, he typed ''182 cm in feet'' in google. The .97 in this case is not in inches, it's literally 0.03 off 6 feet.

Agreed, I won't expect any signings to be made next week but just some maybe some bids or something credible.
Bids could have been going in already for all we know. After all, the first we knew of our Vermaelen bid from any reliable source was Wenger's press conference, right?

Nothing new in there, but they said that LVG "sees Cuadrado as an upgrade on both Rafael Da Silva and Antonio Valencia as he seeks to build a side capable of playing in his favoured 3-4-1-2 formation."

They got it from "British reports," so it's BS, but here's the report:

Manchester United could be the fate of Angel Di Maria. The English team is best placed to sign the Argentine after the PSG give up his recruitment as too expensive.

According to several British media, the Red Devils are preparing a breaker of 55 million pounds (70 million euros) to unlock the exit from Real Madrid 'noodle', would receive an annual salary in excess of 7 million euros.

The English side seems to have withdrawn from the bidding for Colombia's Juan Guillermo Cuadrado and their interests are now focused on Real Madrid Di Maria.

And they are getting that from the Express, which is the worst source currently in the world. It's all nonsense.

I know FFP is hindering them a bit but if PSG are complaining that Di Maria is too expensive, we are hardly likely to think the price Madrid are asking for is acceptable.

Good signing for Milan. That move went under the radar. I like transfers that aren't reported, then out of the blue a signing is announced. Makes a good surprise.

Griezmann not tempted by Bayern http://ow.ly/A8AEU

Monaco and Spurs were after Griezmann apparently, as well as Bayern at the last minute.
