Vermaelen has one of the best leaps I've seen. He has many glaring weaknesses but his height isn't one.

Considering how much emphasis this club has always put on personality when assessing potential targets and Van Gaal seeming to have the same ethos, I'd say we are safe enough.

I don't expect the starting line up vs Swansea to be much different from that against Liverpool though tbh, doesn't really matter who we sign, they haven't trained with the system.
Call me crazy but I'm actually quite happy with what we have to take into the first 6 games. So I think we can comfortably use the whole of this window and still have time to encorporate the new signings in at a natural pace.
Agreed, I won't expect any signings to be made next week but just some maybe some bids or something credible.
