He's his own fecking player, the twat. What did he think he was buying? He should know him more than anyone.

Incompetent fool, well rid of the useless git.

Haha I know I dont have my fans on here but why did it say I was quoted in this post?

So if City sign Caballero will it be as a backup? I can't see either Joe Hart or Caballero being happy on the bench.

Luke Shaw is so not worth all this hassle
Id suggest he is, where else would we find a LB that can play as wing back, is young and already has the foundations of a pass and move team? The only other I can think of is Alba

It's hard seeing Suarez staying at Liverpool, he does seem to love the club but once that official offer is on the table he won't be able to resist playing with some of the best players in the world in sunny Spain.

Who the hell cares! We're spunking 30 millions on an 18 year old I suggest Southampton or Shaw or whoever it is causing the proposed fuss to just zip it and get on with business... There are other left backs out there

Not sure he does. He was kicking and screaming to be released last summer to Arsenal

"Last year I had the opportunity to move to a big European club and I stayed on the understanding that if we failed to qualify for the Champions League the following season I'd be allowed to go," he revealed. "I gave absolutely everything last season but it was not enough to give us a top-four finish – now all I want is for Liverpool to honour our agreement."

I was replying to a message you posted yesterday, but I lost reception on my phone & gave up trying to post it. The draft was saved, which got attached the start of this message, which I deleted but obviously the tag still remained.

What if the release clause is huge though? I reckon there's more chance of Suarez going via causing a mega shitstorm if Liverpool try to keep him, which they of course will do.
I've heard €70m if Barça or Madrid want him. Loos change for Madrid. Barça want a number nine, but surely they'll sign a centre half or two.

Okay I've never seen that before.

I take what I said back haha

Suarez will push for the move. No way Liverpool will be able to keep him.

what is interesting- RM won CL last season. They are buying / thinking of buying better players for the next season. We, for the best of of last few years, were reluctant to strengthen the team. just additions or obvious replacements. Bar RVP.
Same went for Bayern. Won the treble and had secured Guardiola, and they still went out and spent big. Bigger than United who had just lost the biggest cog in their machine.
If any top club needed to spend big last summer to give the club a boost it was us. As much as Moyes messed up, I never got the impression that the club were actually willing to spend big.

To me it just shows the difference in the owners and their priorities. As much as Real Madrid's leaders have their faults, you can't deny that they not only want to be successful financially, but they really want to be the very best team they can be. Already being the best isn't enough, they want to do it in more style and with more goals.

Seen this posted (or things along these lines) by a few people, Porto want him is the rumour I think.

Also Angel Di Maria is unsure of his Real Madrid future, so we could be linked to him too.

The issue I have that headline is that we're now apparently 'missing out' when chances are we weren't in for the player. This applies to half the Dutch squad and every second midfielder in the world.

I dont think "Loose out" is more appropriate than "Not interested in"

Did anyone read that incredibly long piece by an ESPN journalist trying to get to the bottom of why Suarez is such a cnut? It ended up being a total hagiography but made a really big deal about how Suarez made every decision in his career to please his girlfriend (who is now his wife). So if her old man is coming out and saying he should move to Spain....

He's off isn't it  when the official bids start coming in he will make sure he gets a move.

But his Grandfather finished his career in the Premier League so he is definitely not leaving.

Do you have the link the article?

Obviously it's not exclusive to each other, but I'd rather Suarez stayed at Liverpool if it meant us getting Sanchez rather then missing out on him and seeing them get him.

Here's a brief guide to the article:

*If you were born poor, you should be given licence to pull any old shit.
*He's good at football, which means that he should be given licence to pull any old shit.
*'Look - here's a photo of Luis holding a baby! (subtitles for the thick: He's not as bad as reported, therefore he should be given licence to pull any old shit.)'
*A difference in cultures means that he should be given licence to pull any old shit.
*(The old crock about) genius being close to madness means that he should be given licence to pull any old shit.
*He's completely different off the pitch...which means that he should be given licence to pull any old shit.

I dont think we ever played to his strengths though. We bought him and expected him to fit into the Man United ethos of fast, free-flowing, counter-attacking football but thats just not his style. It was never destined to work out and he'll be taking a significant step down if/when he leaves the club.

I dont expect LVG will accomodate him in any system he plays.
When did Moyes ever try to play that?

The whole piece is fecking bananas. What makes it even more annoying is that it's obviously being pitched as something a bit more intelligent and insightful than your standard opinion piece about football yet it's riddled with utter nonsense. It's as though we're supposed to accept that Suarez is the only footballer from the wrong side of the tracks playing under tremendous pressure in a foreign league. Sure he is.

They're the outfit which employs Kristian Walsh. 'Nuff said.
