If Simeone can keep him in check then he has a wonderful talent at his disposal for a bargain price.
If we are 8th in January losing games to Sunderland and Hull then fans will probably be rightly pissed. I don't worry about that though, with a competent manager we should be top 4.
I wonder if Simeone is capable of rejuvenating Torres. Doubtful for me, they already have Mandzukic though so that's front line sorted.

Would seem logical, if not altogether profitable, to move Agger (Especially at that price) with the depth Liverpool now have in central defense. Makes me nervous to consider him for Barcelona since he didn't play ahead of Sakho - is it all down to injuries or form too?
Both. He's been mouthing off in the press about not being picked during the run in. I think it's clear Sakho is seen as the future along with Lovren. Injuries, the inability to cope with physical strikers, wages, age and his poor marking over the past two seasons will mean he's off if we get a decent offer. I think at Barcelona he would be very good though. If he gets back to his form before the last 18 months then you'll have one of the best centre backs around.
Reus would probably only work in a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, not in a 3-5-2, 3-4-3 with wing backs or a 3-4-1-2. Cavani should be a non starter. Vidal, well who knows.

Plus last year Per Mertesacker was not wearing 4 during a preseason training session and I remember all the Arsenal thinking Cesc was coming back.
If we really do have no interest in Cavani, I must hand it to his team and the press for running one hell of a campaign.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say maybe the Cavani rumours are PSG led so they can sell him off and buy Di Maria! I know he was allegedly a Moyes target but IMO we don't need him!
