Not sure if this has been posted in here but just seen this now

Edit: Can't seem to post Richard's response so here's a picture . . .

That's great

I think Richards was an Arsenal fan, but his favorite player was Scholes.

How can a taped interview played in a podcast be off the fckin record? And what difference is there between revealing information to a paper journalist and a fanzine journalist? Mitten has close ties to the club and is respected in United circles

I've explained that. Woodward has no benefit whatsoever from revealing information, important information at that, to what is essentially a random fan that happens to run a fanzine. Of course Mitten is respected, and he will have links to a number of players and staff, but part of Woodward's job directly involves the chief football writers at the broadsheets. He needs a good relationship with Daniel Taylor; he won't give a shit about Andy Mitten.

Good player, but I can't help but feel he is too lacking in a lot of areas to consider even if he's an improvement on our whole midfield.

Quite surprised by that, I was expecting Khedira to be sold but apparently Ancelotti wants him to stay.

we should try a cheeky bid for Illirramendi.

Khedira was tipped to join Chelsea anyway. Ancelotti seems to rate him highly so not really a surprise he's staying there next season.

Not sure how that(Khedira) is such a good news, if we have nailed on transfer news to improve the midfield then yes. But come close to deadline day iff we are still unsure of anything concrete, then this would not be such a good news.

It would be good news, because Khedira is average at best.

Why? He's been quite poor whenever I've seen him, and my Real supporting mate hates him.

don't rate him. It would just be buying another midfielder for the sake off it. Whats the point in that?

That's the most passive-aggressive throwing under the bus I've ever read.

Surely Moyes ought to realise that any criticism on Fellaini reflects badly on him given he was signing a player he directly worked with for 5 years.

It doesn't help that he makes it sound like he was looking for a PS4 on Christmas Eve, and ended up with a Tamagotchi.

Moyes really should just keep it quiet.

You are right, i don't know what to do about that.

Without going over old ground regarding last summer’s transfer window, I want to make two points. The last thing we wanted was to make him my first signing as United manager and the only signing of the summer

I'm either getting linked to the wrong article or don't think anything he has said is that bad? If anything it seems like he tries to give Fellaini a bit of hope he may still be at United next season. says he struggles but has got potential and can improve. I doubt Fellaini ended last season thinking he was player of the year or anything. None of this will be a shock to him.

The stuff about him being first United signing seems to do with pressure more than ability judging by the rest of the article.

Well, yeah, that's another perspective.
Basically, most of these recent articles can be boiled down to: 'Chairmen, please don't write me off just because I failed at United'.

Not much wrong with the article, the headline makes it look far worse than it is.
Nothing to see here.

He's his own fecking player, the twat. What did he think he was buying? He should know him more than anyone.

Incompetent fool, well rid of the useless git.

/rant
Calm down, Colin and read the article.

Moyes said in september that Fellaini, didn't have United level, yet. And that he wasn't supposed to be a first teamer. I really think that deep down Moyes doesn't rate Fellaini a lot, he thinks that he can be a good player and that's it.
