So everyone in the Manchester press pack has the story that Fellaini isn't wanted, Nani and Anderson are out too and Kagawa will be if we get a good offer? I'd say the hotline into Old Trafford is back on. Seen a few interesting tidbits about next year's tour too.

Which journo or Twitter account broke the Felliani story earlier?

I know swap deals rarely happen but Klopp loves Kagawa. Could he be used to take away Hummels?

What happened to LVG giving his squad a chance to prove themselves? Is Fellaini genuinely that shit that he's the only player not even worth giving a chance?!

Any idiot with a brain knows after last season the Fellaini is no midfielder, and that he's only good as a target man, Van Gaal is no idiot.

Moyes on the other hand......

I'm joking (EDIT: Maybe only slightly), he just doesn't fit our team anyway.

You don't really believe that do you? It's just a line to keep the players on side during the tour, there will be players he already knows wontfit the system.

They have all been briefed the exact same thing. I predict Kagawa used somehow to try and get Hummels back on the radar, we know Klopp still has a soft spot for Shinji. Anderson might as well feck off back to Brazil. I still believe in Nani, we should keep him.
Dortmund are already pretty heavily stocked in Kagawa's position. Not sure it's a runner at all and even if they did want him it wouldnt be in exchange for Hummels.

I would be pretty sure that he is damn sure who he wants to keep and who he wants to go.

Nobody will take Young on those huge wages.

To be fair at least Young looks like he gives a feck at times. Nani hasn't looked arsed for about 3 years, on the occasions he's been fit. If Young's willing to give his best LvG will appreciate that and i can see him sticking around.

I have been super critical with Kagawa over his time here (mainly because of his silly super fans) BUT we all know he's a great player in the right system and you would think he'd be perfect in a passing system that Van Gaal seems to want to play.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not surprised he's getting the boot. However he's not the only player who it seems deserves to be sold without having been given a chance. Other players who could easily have been put in the same boat as Fellaini are on the tour though. Young for example.

Nice to see Will Keane get a mention.

I wonder what type of forwards fit his criteria. By the sounds of it it'll be wingers that he is looking for.

I don't know. With these departures I think defenders and a central midfielder will be the more immediate priority.

It was on Sport Witness from an Italian paper. Not sure which one.

All the English ones seemingly going with it tonight.

I wonder if the back up to Mata in that position might well be Januzaj, so we can move Kagawa on.

Young is such a weird one along with Cleverley it seems no matter badly they perform or how useless they are on the field they miss the managers scrutiny, almost dodging the bullet every time. Perhaps in training they are amazing? No one knows. I think Young will be here for another season and I can see him staying for a while milling along in the back ups scoring a screamer every now and then In a league cup game.

A thought has occured to me, is this latest briefing perhaps part truth and a kick up the arse for Kagawa?

Nani, Anderson and Fellaini I could all see leaving, but after Van Gaal mentioned Kagawa being one of his passers after the last game, I assume he at least sees something he likes in Shinji, but maybe feels he needs some motivating?

We should seriously be offering Fellaini to West Ham. Even if it is on loan. He won't be eligible to play against us and he can take Carroll's place either on the bench or on the field.

I agree. I think Nani is a disgrace. He has so much ability yet he really doesn't seem to give a shit.

WTF is going on?

The Fellaini saga seems like the Vidal saga. National journalists say it is not happening, whilst foreign journalists say it is.

If he needs that to motivate him when a new Manager comes in, he shouldn't be here.

Italian journalist just hate us.

We want Fellaini to go they want him to stay and it's the same with Vidal.

This pretty much sums up the situation with our transfer links this summer.

Let's hope there's not a 300 page thread dedicated to Fellaini on a Napoli forum.

The owners wouldn't sanction it, Big Sam is under orders to play more attractive football and anyway at the moment his job could be on the line.
