Those Van Gaal quotes make it sound like he's not in for Vidal, maybe the club told him to quash the rumors.

We have been really quiet as regards interest in Vidal.
Yep we have. That's where all the negativity is coming from. Either we are be very secretive or there isn't any interest at all, I'm praying for the former

This story so far has consisted of nothing but dodgy sources claiming United were about to bid or had bid. Plenty of sources have said otherwise, and been accused of being dirty rotten liars by certain posters on here.

If United do ultimately make a bid then it will be a shock at this stage as there have been so many false dawns.

Didn't VanGaal call Vidal a special player during the World cup?
And said he tried to buy him before but he chose Juventus.
I don't know man, everything makes you think we would want him, Van Gaal is a big admirer and tried to buy him before, Woodward comes out with the bullish comments about how big we are and how much money we have BUT this whole Vidal thing seems to be going nowhere.
Its such a frustrating situation.

The fact that United have not come out yet to reject rumours of Vidal says a lot in my opinion. In the past they have always rejected players we are falsely linked with.

Correct, we didnt let the Kroos or Cesc saga drag on too long under LVG.

From the video I feel more and more like Evans will be captain. van Gaal sounds like a fan, and I'm sure Evans embodies the philosophy van Gaal wants - a good choice. The winger/attacker, I'd reckon it'd be di Maria or Cuadrado. When he said Rooney had told him he can play the #7 and the #11, is there any difference? I assumed both were normally associated with wide players.

To be fair they have briefed the press a number of times saying we aren't interested, even Andy Mitten said his source was playing down the rumour.

Right and left side mate

Looks like from that Van Gaal interview he knows what he is doing with regard to transfers.

Strange that this has broke in two papers at the same time for both Kagawa and Fellaini. A bit of club briefing perhaps?

Edit- Three papers

Yep, despite what has been said the club still seeming to be briefing a lot. The English press have been largely dismissive of the Vidal story while every paper seems to have the story that Fellaini and Kagawa are for sale.

Nani and Anderson mentioned in them all as well as Fellaini and Kagawa.

The media have definitely been briefed you'd think.

Looks like all four are heading for the exit. I have to say I think it's the correct decision in for all those players.

Whenever I see that Mark Ogen avatar I think of the Wu Tang Clan

Good 'ol Ian Ladybits.

Doubt Kagawa will be going anywhere after what Van Gaal said about him being "one of his passers".
