Googled it & can confirm he's a righty, not a lefty. Just better with his left foot than most of his defensive partners so played on the left when younger. Prefers to play as the right sided central defender!

As for Juventus, they don't have the finances to strengthen their squad without selling one of their key players, just look at how they missed out on Iturbe and Sanchez. This may very well be the reason why Conte left them. If we truly are after Vidal and our offer is high enough, we will get them. The only thing I'm questioning is our interest in him.
