I did and it just comes up like this.

I'm afraid that goes beyond my expertise

Under a capable manager i'm very confident that we'd have ended up with 20-25 Points more.
Keep telling yourself that. Moyes alone did not cost the team 20-25 points. Maybe under someone competent, the team could have turned a few of those draws to wins, so I'd say about 8-10 pts. 20-25 is just pushing it and wishful thinking and denial.

15 points minimum I'd say, easily. We had a squad that won the league and we added Fellaini, Januzaj and Mata to that squad. With a competent manager we would have finished top 4.

Sound, thanks anyway.

I'm not basing it on nothing though and there's no need to get aggressive. As badly as we played last year it was thin margins in games that had great consequences for our league position. Games such as against Stoke, Fulham, Chelsea at home, Liverpool away, West Bromwich away, Everton at home and Newcastle at home etc were all tight games that we should have won and with Van Gaal as manager we probably would have won. Had we won those tight games, our season would've most likey looked drastically different and Moyes would've probably still been our manager.

Lucky escape then

Cheers. That has been bugging me for months.

To be quite honest, it was Moyes' tactical ineptitude that was to blame for many of these results. Everybody remembers the infamous game at Goodison where it was possible to see, with no word of exaggeration here, that we literally had no shape from the first minute onwards. In a league as competitive as ours, you're always going to have close games that see you fail to collect 3 points, and you can point to any number and say: ah, but if we'd had a bit more luck here and hadn't made that blunder there then the manager would've kept his job. It sort of overlooks the bigger picture and the repeated pattern of absolutely inept management by Moyes.

I don't think Ramires is good at all. Chelsea could well get another disproportionate chunk of money for an average player if these reports are to be believed. It really is remarkable.

Apparently Mourinho wants to replace Ramires with Kroos.

That is a worrying proposition. I'll be genuinely surprised at Mourinho's overhaul this summer if that is indeed the case, but it's a worrying proposition. Kroos is a top class player and would make a big difference to Chelsea.

I do but i found that it works if you click on the tweet and then just copy the URL address instead of going near the code or embedding anything.
Yep, that's what I do. The embedding never worked for me, both in Chrome and in Mozilla.

Are you using Google Chrome? Never seems to work for me either

I use google chrome.

What I do is that I click on the timestamp of the tweet. For eg-

In this tweet, I will click on "19sec" and then copy the subsequent link. Works for me.

Really glad that David Luiz has fecked off to France and we won't be seeing his cnutish face in the Premier League any more. Ramires leaving as well would be great. I'm sick of seeing him escape bookings every single game.

As for Vermaelen denying the stories about United and people saying ''thank God for that'' - players denying rumours about a move only to seal it a couple of days later has never happened before. Nope.

Napoli are mental then.
Why? They are very good financially and they don't need to sell. He's their main striker and if they lose him they would need to get someone very good who would cost a lot. He is also on a long contract. If Barca wants him (why would they want him is a mystery hough) then they need to pay top money.

Kroos matic and fabregas would be an incredibly slow midfield 3, it wouldn't bother me too much. All excellent players but you need some mobility in there.

I agree completely. I didn't mean to come off as supportive of Moyes although I might've. My point is quite the opposite, and i'm trying to defend the squad because I think that some people go too far in undervaluating it. The margin between a catastrophic season and an acceptable one is very thin and even as inept as Moyes was, we could've still ended up in a much better position than we did. Many people will go as far as to say that the squad is at a mid-table level but with just a little more efficiancy we could've very well made the top 4 and if Van Gaal had been our manager we'd have been a much stronger side.

Would be pretty badass if we pulled off the Vidal signing after we've all complained about not going for Fabregas and (possibly) Kroos. Price must be right, though, but he is potentially the best midfielder in the world to suit our needs.
