I will never understand why PL teams look to players who just got relegated to improve their teams. The odd one or two star player yeah (Ba & Remy for example), but players like Senderos? Crazy.
Yeah at least he knows which positions people play which is something i guess compared to Custis.
As you say no width and far too pedestrian, would drop Fellaini put Valencia/Januzaj right and Rooney left and then it doesn't look too bad. I think Duckers line up was based around getting Rvp Mata & Rooney in their best positions and not much thought to anything else.
I think they just enjoy relegation battles.

Am I right that Bayern are about to lose Shaqiri? That would make Cuadrado a replacement, basically, wouldn't it? Different types of player but both would basically be/have been in the 'possible future replacement for Robben' slot.
Would be a magnificent signing. I'm slightly sad to see him not going to a 'major' club, but he will probably leave in 3years if he continues to improve.
Yeah, guess so though he is pretty versatile and can play RWB too when they go 3 at the back and/or Lahm is played in midfield.

Reading the last few pages I have discovered that we havent been linked to anyone...Remy is a signing on par with Suarez and that somehow Danny Blind is worth €22 million!!
He has already decided in my opinion but he will probably announce after his holiday.

Just been reading that Di Maria 'apparently' was offered to LFC before the world cup. Di Maria fcked us off and said no.
Now only PSG are stepping up to the plate and he's worried he's not going to a decent league. Suddenly interested to know if LFC are still on for it.
Separately, just a few minutes ago, Heaton twittered that Tony Evans has got some secret OMFG news. So I was wondering what could be a bigger OMFG moment than signing Remy.
All internet rumours of course, that's what makes transfer season fun.

I'm not sure I even rate Di Maria that highly, specially if he moved to the UK. But he'd need to come to terms with a lower wage if he didn't want French football.
