Chavs won't sign another midfielder in this window surely?

I wonder why Mourinho doesn't want to buy Pogba for Chelsea if he's such a big admirer.
It makes you wonder if Mourinho will be there much longer, he just didn't look the same last year, he didn't seem his usual 'bubbly' self i thought.

He is a bit childish at times with his tweets etc, but apparently he is close to Mourinho.
Edit: he is responding to tweets asking hime about Pogba.

He's up there with the most annoying journalists on twitter. Talks in riddles and posts like he's in his teens, when he's a middle aged man with kids.

 How the feck have you drawn that conclusion from the fact he doesn't want to spend £60m on a player he doesn't need.

Or "doesn't want to buy" is a euphemism for "cannot find enough rubles".

He got dumped at the alter for a granny and hasn't recovered mentally since.

No i thought he didn't look happy for a while now. I just thought maybe Roman was being a twat behind the scenes again.

If there's any French young uber talent Mourinho will be sniffing around, it's Varane. I'm sure he's a huge fan of Pogba but there's no real need for him for a while at Chelsea.

he seems to have a good record, calling sanchez as done before others and offered to delete his account if not, also got the kit value bang on at £750m, and called Kroos quite early, Vidal done saying minor details left and that he will sign before TW ends

Its like not getting the United job crushed him, probably even worse when it was to Moyes.

Not transfer related but very interesting. 20 million for united must be pocket change. If we get back into the champions league, we will be debt free very soon i reckon.

Has Andy Green backed away from the "United are ruined" bollocks he spouted, and scared countless United fans with, yet?

Someone tell the club that it might speed up the transfer if we actually put in a bid in the first place!, i know thats wild thinking but it might just help.

It could be a case of not wanting a protected bidding process so we want to make sure as many cards are in our favour as possible. It's an open secret we're interested but if we bid, say, £28m as an opening gambit it'll spark speculation about other suitors that Juve can use to drive our price up, whether or not they actually exist. If we get agreement from the player and do our research in terms of what Juve would be after it could be a swoop and grab. Bid first without any of the background work in place it could be a few weeks of back and forth.

I never really found him to be one of the worst for doom-mongering. I always found his analysis reasonably fair. He just (correctly) lamented the vast sums heading out of the club. IIRC, he never spelled our doom like others did. He always knew it was manageable, just that the debt payments were hindering us.

Van Gaal on Wednesday ''These Vidal rumours are all rubbish. No more signings, I'm happy with my squad and there is no value in the market.''

There was a time when our debt never seemed to move and stood at that 500m figure and it was a bit scary but now the Glazers have done well to re-finance what's left of it into more financially friendly options. I haven't really followed Andy but most of us were worried.

He's being quite balanced now if you look at his Twitter TL - saying that interest repayments now very manageable and club have funds to invest in playing side after years of under investment. He said to me that Glazers have taken £600m out of the club. That's an astonishing amount of money. I think he's been brilliant when it comes to presenting United's finances to the fans.

MEN at 2.30 ''An announcement of the signing of Vidal is imminent''

MEN at 9.30 ''The Reds are yet to make any official contact with Juventus about signing the powerhouse Chilean midfielder.''

They are just a bunch of tools.

All of those things were already spread across the net by that time. Anybody who uses "If I'm wrong I'll delete my account" should never be taken seriously.

How I see it is that we're clearly interested in Vidal. We've tightened up leaks from the club and not many really know a great deal as to what's going on. What has come to grasp is that there's an interest and so the genuine journalists have reported this. Others who aren't ITK have then latched onto this and pushed the story further without any concrete backup.

It's an interesting one and it's hard to not get excited about the potential of signing one of the best (IMO the best) midfielders in the world. Personally I think he'll stay at Juventus for another season, but after signing the likes of Van Persie and Mata, not much would surprise me anymore.

Yeah, the "taken out" figure gets mentioned a lot. Not so much the "brought in through unprecedented levels of sponsorship" figure.

He aligned with MUST in the Club in Ruins bollocks. It's about time he backed away from it.

He was pretty doom-mongery at the start, when he aligned himself with MUST and tried to frighten United fans with what was to come.

Yeah, I see where you're coming from, but he was just commentating on the situation as he saw it, in my opinion. For a long period, it did look really worrying. The debt pile was absolutely huge and stagnant for a while.

Also, it's conceivable that the huge leap in our revenues could've been achieved without the Glazers.

He was a poster here, he was completely obsesed with playing Anderson at left back & Fabio in midfield. He also loved modric and cleverly. he was hounded off the caf.

He was welcomed back with open arms but decided he preferred twitter to the caf and left.

Rejected. By Scholesy.

I can't believe it at all but for now I am here. did not expect Hectic of all admin users to unban since of past events

But I hope to continue the football discussion and trophies for our great team

ok guys, I find it easier to post on twitter so will be posting there now on. You can ban me again or delete the username sorry. its very difficult to post here. marks to Hectic for unbanning me, did not expect that action, thanks. I will still browse the forum as a guest its great.

All in the same day. @Hectic rejected by Scholesy. Good times.

That's very debatable. The first thing the Glazers did when they came in was capitalise on monetizing the brand. They saw it as undervalued, which was the most important part of their entire business plan. We hadn't capitalised as much as we could have before the Glazers. Why assume we might have done without them?
