So we have been linked to Hummels, Vidal and Di Maria as the major signings. If we were to pull off all 3 which would be our biggest transfer of the window in people's opinions.

If we signed all three I'll eat my cake.

Why hasnt evra been announced yet? Something went wrong? Or could it relate to vidal? :nervous:

Not transfer related but very interesting. 20 million for united must be pocket change. If we get back into the champions league, we will be debt free very soon i reckon.

People realise that it's a joke Scholes account in 3...2...
He was a poster here, he was completely obsesed with playing Anderson at left back & Fabio in midfield. He also loved modric and cleverly. he was hounded off the caf.

Why do they always make them hold up size XXXL jerseys?

Vidal by a wide margin IMO, if push cones to shove I have more faith in our wide options and young CB's to step up than I do in any of our CM's to be good partners for Herrera.

Scholesy's Twitter is gold, well worth a follow.

Herrera is the best signing we've made the past ten years, he reckons anyway.

This been posted yet ?

“A lot of work has gone into his signing and I’d like to pay tribute to my staff, in particular Graham [Carr] and myself, Lee [Charnley], Mike and everyone on the board. We’ve worked really hard on this and he’s a player we think is important, which is represented in the fee and represented in his commitment to us. I’m just looking forward to seeing an exciting talent.”

Reminds me of Fr. Ted's acceptance speech for the Golden Cleric award - "I'm great.."

Why the feck does he want Anderson to be our first choice left back?

Let's face it guys, we're not signing a decent player this summer. All we've done is buy a couple of folk who are marginally better than what we already have, whilst City and Chelsea have strengthened their already better squads with world class talent. Until the Glazer family get their collective fingers out of their collective rings and start spending some proper money to make up for the years of neglect, we're going to lose out every year.
Bonjour

I share a certain amount of your pessimism, but there's still plenty of time to spunk a shitload on players Pidge. I think its best to hold-back the frustrations until the window closes - if we have any by then of course.

Lets see how it all pans out man. United know we need upgrades & they need to be competitive again, or sponsors will walk after another period of failure. Spending money - makes money, if you pardon the pun!

I'm actually quite happy with our signings so far, although I'll be a wee bit dejected if we don't get anyone else after having Sanchez, Vidal and Di Maria dangled in our faces by the media.

But it's the same every year, and we always find a way of making it work (last year didn't actually happen, though. It was all just a dream:nervous:)

He is a bit childish at times with his tweets etc, but apparently he is close to Mourinho.
Edit: he is responding to tweets asking hime about Pogba.
