He's ours lads! It beggars belief that a club that's been blacklisted by FIFA's FFP would be allowed to spend like a hobo who has just won the national lottery! If UEFA wants to be taken seriously, it needs to start acting like FIFA did with Suarez. Not bending over every time Barcelona come knocking.

Everyone saying PSG are ignoring FFP however what will happen if they break the rules?
Surely penalties must have been laid out with the sanctions?

Exactly. I think Platini needs to bring down the iron hammer here and make a statement. FFP is still not taken too seriously.

50m euros NET which they blew on Luiz.
Yes they would need to sell players, which means I'm sure they don't have a deal completed as of yet.

And they have to keep the same wage bill

I think Rodgers thinks Jay is short for James...
:lol::lol::lol:
I actually did a double take when I saw the tweet as I thought it meant James, until I saw the picture of a Southampton player

THey're preparing to lose Martins Indi and De Vrij.
And Janmaat, and they have also just lost Pelle. Tough times for them but I think Kongolo will step up. I rate him higher than Indi.

Front runners according to Sky.. not really what we need although he is better than both Welbeck/Hernandez.

Can't see it happening, to be honest. Trying to find space for RVP and Rooney is already enough of a headache without adding a top class forward who is already unhappy playing second fiddle to another player and being forced out wide.

What many forget is the wage sanction too, they can't pay a huge wage unless they get rid of an equivalent amount.

Initially, the 50m net was also to be spent on one player only, but it seems that sanction is no longer talked about, so I assume dropped.

If Arsenal can afford it, they really should be going for Cavani. I doubt they can afford it though, but it would make their first team look beastly.

I think they can afford it. If they are adding Khedira as well as Cavani then theyve put themselves right back in the running for the title.

They've still got a weak defence, but they'll have sorted their attacking issues out if they did manage to get Cavani and will bring much needed leadership in the form of Khedira.
