It's pathetic that PSG gave you a FFP free pass. Btw why are you so into Pogba? You already have Fabregas, Matic, Ramires, Van Ginkel, a very good combination. I'd rather spend on a world class CB and backup striker tbh.
A free pass... Chelsea could afford 150m on FFP this window

Your blind love for Pogba makes you miss entirely the point. Yes, Pogba is great, Yes every club in the world could do with him, but a great CB with a good backup striker is much more needed than another marquee CM signing. If Pogba is the last player you need you really believe that Terry, Cahill, Zouma is good enough? even if you add Invanovic to that mix, the need for a world class CB is much more needed than in CM. Matic-Fabregas-Oscar is a perfect midfield of three so I simply don't see the need for another world class CM.

Not my blind love. I'm only representing what Chelsea envisage for this season and Pogba is in their plans and that is a fact. Did pretty well last season, in fact our defence was the best in the PL and only behind Bayern is conceding in the top 5 league if my memory serves me correct, so I don't know where this sudden idea of needing a 'world class CB' has become an issue when Luiz was kept out of the fold and we managed without him and sold him for £50m. I suspect Chelsea will asses Zouma to see if they feel he can be 3rd choice CB with Ivanovic as 4th choice (but 1st RB for Mourinho although it should be Azpilicueta). Left back is the concern defensively with Bertrand likely to be sold and Van Aanholt 50/50, we'll need a LB (Luis) and Azpilicueta being back up. I'm still suspicious of Oscar's future, PSG haven't given up yet and even Oscar has admitted they've contacted him and he's declined but footballers don't always keep their word.

Well I mean Fabregas and Sanchez are clearly world class and the finished article?

Well I wouldn't consider Sanchez as world class, but that's another issue. Bare in mind that I don't consider Rooney world class, I have a more narrow definition of the term.

"When asked if he was signing for Chelsea, Pogba chuckled."

So say the Daily Mail.

Not when you can spend over £100m and still comply. Ramires is terrible in a 4231.

433 suits most of our current players infact.

We've only got as it stands:

Matic, Fabregas, Ramires, Mikel and Van Ginkel as 1st team players with Mikel and/or Van Ginkel being sold/loaned.

After that its Chalobah, McEachran who have minimal PL experience and quite frankly aren't good enough in the case of McEachran. Pogba is the last player we need.

Romeu is back as well,,,if anyone gets sold/loaned it will be him.

And let's not forget that when it comes to the press Chelsea are one of the leakiest clubs around.

If they've bid for Pogba, and they'd have to if Pogba really is in London to visit them, the press would have known about it.

After the Herrera deal, I think anything can happen fast now. Not one MUFC writer or source had any kind of clue. Only the spanish media broke it and it took the English media nearly a day to catch up. Relax and enjoy the pre season tour.
Difference is United were close to Herrera last season and would have signed him before what ever happened did, so you could basically say this summer was just a continuation from the last one. Vidal or whoever United is after is not the same, so I doubt it's happening that "fast".

Interesting to see who we are going to sign. Starting to think we are after schweinsteiger to partner Herrera, which would explain our lack of action in the transfer market at the moment. Hummels probably the other one

I actually see Vidal as a bigger possibility than Schweinsteiger, who I think is nigh impossible

I love how you pretend your ITK knowledge as a fact (not saying that you talk shit, just that presenting it as a fact is wrong IMO). Terry is 34 this season, you never know when he suddenly ages quickly, like Ferdinand last year. If you think that Terry - Cahill with Zouma and Ivanovic as a backup isn't more in rebuild need than your CM situation we have to agree to disagree. Don't see Oscar leaving, Mou loves him too much and he is the perfect 10 for his system.

Strange place for a young 21 year old to spend his 10 day holiday after a gruelling season then go to a WC before pre-season. Would have thought he'd go to a beach and relax rather than be in the crowds of Harrods.
Let's not get into too much debate about his spare time but I know if I was a multi millionaire 21 year old I'd probably be looking to spend my money in the most showy places around. You don't really get much more showy than Harrold.

Fair enough if that's opinion although I disagree with all of it.

Harrold is a right flashy bastard isn't he.

Is he good enough for Liverpool? I mean Liverpool will try to keep their top 4 status and then playing in champions league.

I know it's not really twitter news, and I know odds are nothing to really go by, but Stoke are 9/2 on skybet to sign Ronaldinho this summer

Bony is not the quality of player Liverpool fans would have had in mind to replace Suarez upfront.

He's a decent goalscorer but at the top level he'll get found out. I'll be very delighted if Liverpool spend 20 million on him.

But who is there to replace Suarez who Liverpool can bring in that is willing to leave? Huntelaar possibly and no top PL side will sell their players to them (Lukaku, Dzeko etc) and little strikers available abroad of top quality.

I think Cavani is a good option, it will cost them big time transfer/wages but he is a top player and can score decent amount of goals.

Whenever I read the name Adrian I have to think about Rocky. Why amazing?
Why is that amazing?

Amazing in that Porto could pull off a coup like this considering AM were fantastic last season and only 30 seconds away from winning the double and Porto had a terrible season. Jackson Martinez off as a result to fund this Adrian deal surely?

Adrian is no longer the hot prospect he was a few years back. If anything, he has pretty much regressed. Good signing for Porto though, I do agree.

It's only on an initial loan with an option to buy next summer. Oliver Torres has also joined Porto on loan (though without an option to buy). Surely the good relations between the clubs is once again showing with these deals.
